here are some photos from my painting process of ‘joy surrounds sunlight’. lots of creative decision making going on here ! i really enjoyed the process of creating this work, it was incredibly rewarding, and at some points was a real brain teaser. trusting my subconscious intuition is always the way to go when part of me feels stuck on finding which direction the work will unfurl in….but it all came together in the end. it was so lovely to see julie’s reaction (who commissioned the work) to the work and i can’t wait to see photos of what it looks like hung up !! 🤍🤍✨
