Currently on view as part of our Sculptors' Drawings and Prints exhibition at Kings Place is a series of drawings created by Ann Christopher RA during the lockdown.

Christopher’s work explores and draws from found lines, shapes, colours, patterns and shadows, seen in the everyday, happened across, ordinary objects; phone wires, window frames, rock formations and the spaces between them.

We are delighted to announce that Sculptors' Drawings and Prints has been extended until October 2026 and remains open to the public seven days a week.

Please note that exhibitions on the mezzanine gallery at Kings Place may occasionally be affected by events, and access can sometimes be restricted. We recommend contacting us before you travel.

In 2021, our friends at thecolab.art transformed a hidden rooftop above Temple Station into the worlds first and only public sculpture garden dedicated to the work of women artists.

Since then The Artist’s Garden has welcomed thousands of visitors and supported new site-specific commissions, residencies, and free community events.

We couldn't think of a more meaningful use for the space but now The Artist’s Garden is at risk of eviction.

We are thinking of the wonderful Bryan Kneale who would have been 96 today. Here he is with the fabulous Polyphemus which is currently on show at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.

Bryan was an avid reader and a fantastic raconteur. Here he references Polyphemus the one-eyed cyclops son of Poseidon in Greek Mythology. We will all have a chance to meet Polyphemus on the big screen in next month’s release of Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated mythic action epic The Odyssey.

Currently on display as part of 'The Complete Prints' is series of six lithographs from Lynn Chadwick's 'Moon Series' (1965-66).

This series nods to Chadwick's passion for photography and, more specifically, the early daguerreotypes of the moon, 'whose shadowy crescents and crafted surfaces inspire his compositions', writes Rungwe Kingdom in his introduction for the exhibition.

Referring to these early daguerreotypes, Kingdom continues: 'The prints' mottled surfaces, spots, and fingertips recall both the imperfections of early photography and the material intimacy of printmaking itself. Chadwick's later 'Moon Series' (1965-66) explored a more abstracted vision, incorporating the rounded corners of early photographs, crescent shapes, and deep shadows to form eye-like compositions.'

A heartfelt congratulations to Lyse Doucet, winner of the 2026 Women’s Prize for Non-Fiction for her debut book The Finest Hotel in Kabul, and Virginia Evans, winner of the 2026 Women’s Prize for Fiction for her debut novel The Correspondent! 🏆

Lyse Doucet was awarded the limited-edition artwork the 'Charlotte', created by Pangolin London sculptor Ann Christopher RA and generously gifted by the Charlotte Aitken Trust.

As a women-led gallery, it’s wonderful to see the work and narratives of women thinkers, changemakers, and creatives recognised and celebrated. 👏👏👏

To celebrate the kick off of the FIFA World Cup this evening, here are four unique aluminium maquettes created by Geoffrey Clarke for 'Football: An Exhibition for the World Cup' at Manchester Art Gallery in 1966.

The series, titled 'Ritual', depicts 'the beautiful game' distilled to its most geometric and simplified form. Can you guess what scenes are depicted here? ⚽

We are delighted to present an exhibition focusing on the prints of celebrated sculptor Lynn Chadwick. Featuring etchings and lithographs created throughout his illustrious career, the exhibition highlights Chadwick's adept control of line and form in two dimensions and his skill at creating strong graphic images where he could experiment with colour and composition.

This is the first exhibition of its kind in London and explores the depth of Lynn Chadwick's visual thinking by presenting his print oeuvre alongside related sculptures.

📅 Private View: Thursday 11 June, 6-8pm
📘 Fully illustrated catalogue available on request

'Dilworth's works are not passive art objects, placed on a plinth or mantlepiece and admired from afar. They are held close, passed between generations, used as touchstones of contemplation, comfort and confrontation with all that we love and fear in life'.
