Hayley’s Comet Theatre School will be launching classes in South East London, inviting children and teens to use their creative force in drama, dance and singing to become shining stars. Hayley’s Comet offers classes in acting and musical theatre for 7-12 year olds at the Ackroyd Community Centre SE23. Every idea is shared, and through a process of professional training and collaboration, the star

lets are involved in the practical journey of actually writing their own play or musical showcase. The classes combine classical performance training with imagination and innovation to explore what future possibilities can happen on stage. Hayley Doyle is the founder and artistic director of Hayley’s Comet. From Liverpool, she trained at LIPA gaining a BA (hons) in Acting, and has extensive experience as a professional actress in theatre, film and radio all over the UK. Hayley made her West End debut playing Ali in ‘Mamma Mia!’ at the Prince of Wales Theatre. Believing that all actors are storytellers, and with a love of literature, Hayley graduated from Brunel University in London with a Masters Degree in Creative Writing. She has two adult fiction novel published by HarperCollins, written short stories for national Sunday papers, radio sketches, and of course plays, especially for children. Hayley’s Comet is the perfect combination of putting Hayley Doyle’s experience and passion for theatre and writing together hand in hand, to create unique and memorable performances with young people. Movie Magic day was a SMASH HIT ⭐️ We created 5 mini movies and won lots of Oscars 🏆

Well done to all the budding movie stars today who were bursting with creative ideas all day.

Filming completed… 🎥 now, I wonder what the movies will look like once they’re edited??!!! (Good luck with technology 😂🎬)

From comedy to action heroes to super sci-fi, kids will create some fab scenes that echo their favourite movies. We will play games with fun movie themes and maybe even present a few Oscars…!

Since reopening in London, just under 18 months ago, Mondays really do have a fabulous vibe to them. I don’t get the after weekend blues or dread the week ahead. I know I get to sing and dance with some wonderful, enthusiastic young stars and that’s something to be super grateful for 💫
