The cocktail hour is where weddings actually happen.

It’s the moment before everything becomes official — when the room is full of people who rarely find themselves together. Different ages, different backgrounds, different relationships to the couple. All of them there for the same reason.

I’ve performed at events all over the world, but there’s something about that specific hour that never gets old. The energy is unlike anything else.

I started performing close-up magic 15 years ago, with no idea it would take me to 18 countries, five continents, and rooms I could never have imagined walking into.

There’s something special about performing for a crowd that’s genuinely switched on, full of energy, ideas, and no interest in being anything less than present.

That was the L'Oréal Paris Summer BBQ at Lord's Cricket Ground this summer.

What made it more meaningful: L’Oréal was my very first job out of university. Being back with them, in a setting like that, felt significant. Grateful to everyone who made it happen and to , who was there from day one.

Last week I performed at the Dermafocus 2026 launch alongside - an evening bringing together the nurses and skincare community to connect and share ideas.

Still can’t quite believe this…

The last few months have been incredible—getting to perform on Britain’s Got Talent as part of Maverick Magicians with two of my closest friends. Truly a surreal and unforgettable experience.
