What a truly special week it’s been, made even more meaningful as this marks Zara’s final competition with SMB before she begins her full-time training at The Royal Ballet School this September.

A heartfelt thank you to Global Dance Open for hosting such an exceptional event. It was inspiring to witness such extraordinary talent from around the world, and the standard of dancing throughout the competition was truly outstanding. We feel incredibly grateful to have been part of such a wonderful experience.

Zara, what a tremendous way to conclude your journey with us. We couldn’t be prouder of everything you’ve achieved, and we can’t wait to watch you flourish as you begin the next chapter of your training.

The sky really is the limit. Congratulations! ❤️✨

A huge congratulations to Bespoke dancer Martha, who was invited to London to audition for a Film4 Productions feature film about a ballet school! 🌟

Following an incredible audition process, Martha made it all the way to the final round alongside just two other girls — an outstanding achievement and a true reflection of her talent and versatility! 👏🏻

She was then faced with a difficult decision, as filming would have conflicted with her summer dance commitments. After careful consideration, she chose to prioritise her training and continue focusing on her development and growth as a dancer and pulled out of the final call back.

Martha, we are immensely proud of everything you have achieved, but perhaps even more impressed by your commitment, maturity, and dedication to your training. Your focus, discipline, and talent are both inspiring and admirable.

Congratulations, Martha — As you know, we would have supported whichever decision you made and we do hope to see you on screen in the future! ✨

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that our wee Scottish superstar, Zara, has been invited to join The Royal Ballet School at White Lodge in September! ✨🩰

This incredible invitation follows Zara’s performances at the 2026 YAGP Finals, where she took part in both masterclasses and solo variations. The level of talent at this year’s finals in Houston was truly outstanding, with so many exceptionally gifted dancers from around the world.

Zara, we could not be prouder of you. This is your moment — such a well-deserved achievement after years of hard work, dedication, and training with us at S-MB.

While we will miss you enormously, we are beyond excited to watch you begin this next chapter of your training and continue to grow as a dancer. The sky truly is the limit! 🌟

A huge thank you to The Royal Ballet School’s Artistic Director, Iain Mackay, and Principal of Artistic Programmes, José Carayol, for believing in Zara and making her dreams come true. A special thank you to Larissa Saveliev for the endless opportunities and tremendous support she has given Zara throughout her YAGP journey.

Congratulations, Zara — your future is so bright, you deserve this! ❤️👏🏻✨🩰💖🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿✈️🇺🇸🥰
