This month, 9-year old Johanna Vesely has responded to the theme "Who inspires me" by thinking of a very special person in her life! German description below the English one.
Me :)
When I thought about who inspires me, I realised that I myself am that person. I always have many really funny ideas in my head that motivate me to try something out.
One of my ideas was to paint lots of different aliens with different ages and looks, to give them name and come up with stories.
I created aliens because I very much like animals and characcters that don't really exist. That's why I have created myself as an alien, as this connects me with my fantasy world.
I am nine years old and I live in Koerle near Kassel in Germany.

Als ich darüber nachgedacht habe, wer mich inspiriert, fiel mir auf, dass ich selbst diese Person bin. Ich habe immer ganz viele lustige Ideen in meinem Kopf, die mich motivieren, etwas anzufangen.
Eine meiner Ideen war es, ganz viele verschiedene Aliens in unterschiedlichem Alter und Aussehen zu malen, ihnen Namen zu geben und Geschichten zu erfinden.
Ich habe mir die Aliens ausgedacht, weil ich Tiere und Figuren, die es eigentlich gar nicht gibt, sehr gern mag.
Deshalb habe ich mich auf meinem Bild selbst als Alien dargestellt, weil das mich mit meiner eigenen Fantasiewelt verbindet.
Ich bin neune Jahre alt und wohne in Körle in der Nähe von Kassel.
