The ballerina that walked the plank and revealed a long lost treasure 🩰
Sir Malcolm Sargent conducted over 500 BBC Proms at the Hall, with one resulting in his baton going flying and subsequently, getting lost. He was affectionately known as ‘Flash Harry’ due to his impeccable dress sense, stage presence and energetic conducting style.
This month, return to our auditorium with The Sleeping Beauty. Marking the first time this gleaming production has come the Hall.
Although no ballerinas are set to walk the plank, there are many treasures to be found in this fairy tale production running from 25-28 June.
