Slow Stitching this morning- today's theme was embellishing different stitches onto patterned fabric. Lots of French Knots, couching and other straight stitching techniques. I'm aiming to make mine into a folded pouch.
Lots of sharing also going on with the Stitch books of different stitches.
Everyone seems to be having fun completing the various projects.

I really shouldn't be trusted to do stuff whilst on pain killers, anyway please note the Destash sale on 27th Sept is cancelled (site double booked) Now on Sun 25th Oct. Also original post was somehow on my FB page and can't seem to delete.

Sew.....it's that time of year when adverts pop up for the knitting and stitching show at Ali Pali.
As usual I'm hoping to book group tickets for the show which works out at £14.50 - ( includes their admin fee)
After opening up to our groups - I've got the majority of people wanting to go on Thursday 8th or Saturday 10th. Prefer to stick to these days as the ticket office add an admin fee for each day booked.
Any other takers for tickets - ?

We are aiming to get some new work shops scheduled very soon. So a little friendly reminder to book and pay for workshops and groups beforehand. This does not apply to Crochet groups.
Just a little hint - we are a small independent business and No shows really affect us.

We have some very talented makers. Here's a few items that have been made recently.
I love it when I see a completed project - possibly as I'm not so good at finishing. I have picked up my crochet blanket again this week !!
