It's a wonder that Fringe Theatre in London still exists with idiocy like this. Twickenham Theatre opened in the Summer 2014. It's first production "Sweeney Todd" starring the incredible David Bedella was a sell out. The result? Twickenham Theatre is no more. Two days after the first production ended, the theatre was turfed out. The reason? The pub below had been suddenly sold and the new owners "didn't want a theatre"! Fingers crossed new premises are found because it would be a catastrophe to lose such talent. PS It makes the Menier Chocolate Factory even more special.
