Here I go again! Taking my watercolor travel kit with me, this time to Boston 👏🏼

This time I’m taking a larger set since I’ll be staying with family for a few days, so I know I’ll have some space and time.

I’ve never been an artist who sketches, but I suddenly find myself enjoying a 10-minute watercolor session with my morning coffee. Let’s see how it goes!

Sharing one of the experiments I filmed during my online class, Cyanotype & Mixed Media Explorations 🌿

Also so excited to share that I’ll be exhibiting at The Other Art Fair London this October! I’m planning to use sun printed pieces as my business cards, so the next few weeks are all about painting with the sun on old sketches. Fun times ahead!

How cool is it that we get to experience a solar eclipse this week? ☀️🌑

I still remember the last one I saw, being a child living in Mexico. The excitement, the sudden darkness in the middle of the day… wow. It’s a feeling that stays with you.

When I learned this eclipse was coming, I immediately wanted to paint something to celebrate it, and here it is: “Eclipse,” cyanotype and mixed media on wood. This original will be part of my exhibition at The Other Art Fair London next October ✨

I’m also preparing a new online class where I’ll be sharing these new explorations, so more coming soon!
