The Showstoppers improvise a hilarious new musical every night, entirely created from audience suggestions.

All the dazzling dance routines, catchy melodies and festive magic you'd expect from a West End musical at Christmas, except the cast and live band make it up on the spot!

The mind-blowing, must-see phenomenon, as heard on BBC Radio 4, has been an Edinburgh Festival Fringe sensation for 16 years- and with over 1,5000 hilarious made-up musicals to their name, The Showstoppers never perform the same show twice.

We at Showstopper were saddened to hear of the death of Lawrie Davidson.

Lawrie was a familiar face at our shows, as well as our solo projects and various Showstopper adjacent shows. He saw us countless times both in London and on tour. We’d look out and there he’d be, seated in the front row, grinning from ear to ear. On one unprecedented occasion he even joined us on stage, as this photo attests!

He was a lovely man, an appreciative audience member and a loyal supporter of improvisation and live comedy.

✨If your children could create their very own dream musical, where would they start?✨

The Showstoppers turn your kids' ideas into marvellous, mischievous adventures from scratch, in front of their very noses 👃

Kids decide where the story's set, who the characters are and what happens next – and there's lots of chances to join in!

🚨 Warning grown-ups: we ONLY take suggestions from kids!

We can't wait to be back with our pals with not one but TWO shows this
