Upstream build - part 3

Another update from Hattie’s workshop!
In summary, the correx was too heavy for the wings, so we will find another use for this! It worked very well for the body though.

All the mech is now working well and we just need to get it covered, add some legs and put his head back on.

We are performing this weekend so come along if you would like to see if the finished puppet in action.

All dates available on our website.

Thanks to for making such a great book!

👋 We have been a little bit quiet on here lately, because we are busy planning and preparing for our Spectrum Youth Theatre residencies coming soon.

✏ One of the more fun tasks we get to work on, is coming up with template makes and puppet designs for our participants to use. Hattie has been busy drawing up ideas in her workshop.

We can't wait to bring these to life with the participants - we are always delighted by how much they improve and elevate our ideas during the sessions.

💬Stay tuned to find out more about how we put our projects together and bring them to life!💬

Supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England

We can’t wait to bring our outdoor shows to audiences across the UK this Summer! This is the last call to book Upstream or Buzz for your event.

🌊 Upstream: Meet Lyra, water explorer extraordinaire, and her enchanting new friend, Old Mother River, as they uncover the troubling changes in our rivers and waterways.

🐝 Buzz: Follow Billy Bumble on an unforgettable journey as he shrinks down to bee-size and uncovers the buzzing world of our black and yellow friends.

➡ Email Matt on [email protected] for bookings.

Great for festivals, community events or outdoor spaces, these shows bring a sense of hope and wonder to audiences of all ages, and offer thought-provoking messages around sustainability.
