The BBC has just re-released an episode of Co-Sheirm from 2002 featuring Còisir Lunnainn! We can see our beloved Linn, Helen and Iain in the team but who else can you spot?? No matter how long it has been, they are always part of the family 🥰 Watch the episode here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b088dn8k

Còisir Lunnainn is delighted to have spent the weekend with Ruairidh Gray working hard on our Gaelic. It’s fair to say we are “Mòderately” in love with him and are looking forward to working with him again soon.

This Sunday, we're celebrating World Gaelic Week (23rd February-1st March) with a service in Gaelic and English, welcoming members of Còisir Lunnainn - London Gaelic Choir to join our own choir! The words of the communion service will be in English and Gaelic, and we will all sing Psalm 121 twice - first unaccompanied in Gaelic, to the tune 'Stornoway', and then in English to 'Dundee'. The combined choirs will sing two special anthems: 'Athchuinge', arr. Iain MacDonald, and John Rutter's 'Gaelic Blessing'. We look forward to seeing you there!

Happening tonight, Saturday 13th December!

Our Christmas lessons and carols service is one of our favourite events of the year, so we're very excited for this evening!

As is tradition, we'll be serving mince pies and mulled wine afterwards so that choir and attendees all have a chance to mingle and be merry together 🥰

🕡 6:30pm
📍 Lumen United Reformed Church & Community Centre, 88 Tavistock Place, WC1H 9RS

The event is free and everyone is welcome. We look forward to seeing you all there!
