We're buzzing after another excellent Rhymes with Orange last night.

Huge thanks to everyone who braved the tube strikes and came down to .sq 🍊

MC Liam Fleming hosted our featured performers Colin Nelson, Athos Athansiou and Rachel Malham as they performed on the theme of Future.

We welcomed back Biff Smith, previous Open Mic winner and our special guests and .

Limerick Challenge was won by Carl Heap who we can confidently say has won the most Limerick Challenges in Rhymes history 🏆🏆🏆🏆

Open micers were Summer Gibbins, Carl Heap, Perry Twelvetrees, Rich McLean, Sarah Kitteridge (plus housemates), Paul Fidler and Jamie Crawford.

Open Mic was won by Perry Twelvetrees 🍊

More about Owen...🎙️

Owen Collins is a performance poet who believes in socialism, love at first sight, and not having to pay to use the toilet at major railway termini. He runs Do You Remember The Verse Time, Witney’s best/only live poetry night, and has previously been support act for both Madness and a member of the House of Lords (one of the good ones).

A bit about him 🍊:

John Henry Falle is perhaps best known as Edinburgh Comedy Award nominated poet and taleteller, The Story Beast. Look guys, I’m going to level with you. Story Beast is currently adapting an 850 year old epic poem about the Dukes Of Normandy so that’s what this is and we’re going to suffer through it together. Expect Medieval S*x Scandals, Prophetic Dreams and - if you’re very good - a bit where William The Conqueror’s Great Grandfather has a fight with a zombie.
