Long before Halloween the ancient Celts marked Samhain, a sacred festival celebrating the end of the harvest and the beginning of the dark half of the year. 🍂
It was a time when the veil between worlds was said to thin, when spirits could pass, and when fires burned bright to honour ancestors and welcome renewal. 🔥
As winter crept closer, people gathered around light and music, keeping warmth and community alive — much like we still do today. Over centuries, Samhain’s echoes blended into All Hallows’ Eve, and later, the joyful traditions of Christmas and Yule — carrying forward that same Celtic spirit of connection, remembrance, and light in the darkness. 🕯
Join us, leading up to Christmas, as we celebrate that timeless spirit with traditional celtic instruments and favourite carols, where ancient melodies sung live, meet festive magic 🎄
