Several members of Volare are taking part in the Moniuszko opera "Jawnuta" at POSK on 5-6 October. This opera production features international soloists, fortune-telling gipsies, dancing and wonderful melodies based on Polish folk tunes. Tickets via Eventbrite or from the POSK box office (no booking fee). An evening not to be missed!

After a series of full productions of Halka, Straszny Dwor, Hrabina, Paria, Fliss and Verbum Nobile, in celebration the 200th Anniversary Year of the birth Poland's 1st national composer, Stanislaw Moniuszko, the Polish Opera in London brings you "Jawnuta". Olga Maroszek returns to London to appear....

Fantastic news! Last weekend’s shows raised £6,000 from ticket sales, sponsorship and donations. This sum will be divided equally between our chosen charities - The Alina Foundation and CALM, the Campaign Against Living Miserably. Thank you to everyone who came to support us and donated so generously! We’re delighted that our enjoyment in singing resulted in entertainment for our audiences and substantial donations for these very deserving causes.

What a brilliant show! We had a wonderful audience and everyone seems to have enjoyed themselves. Thanks to everyone who helped to make it such a great success. And we’re doing it again tomorrow 😀

One day to go! We're having our dress rehearsal tonight and we're so excited that our show weekend is nearly here. We know that many of our friends and families are going to be there to support us and have a good time. You can still join the last minute rush for tickets!

Two days to go until we're performing on the stage at POSK! Last minute preparations - checking we're word perfect, finding those last items for props and costumes, practising those moves and warming up our voices in readiness. Tech rehearsal tonight - always a long one but so important!

Only 3 days to go until our show “Harmonia - ale jakim kosztem”. We’ll be rehearsing intensively over the next few days - thank goodness POSK has a cafe and bar to keep us fed and watered! If you’re coming to the show, make time to have some pierogi or one of those amazing Polish cakes with a coffee 🍰

Only 5 weeks to go till our show “Harmonia - Ale Jakim Kosztem?” [Harmony - but at what price?].
We are also supporting the charity Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) with the proceeds from our show. Sadly we probably all know someone who has been affected by the su***de of a brother, father, husband or son.
