🏃‍♀️ Home Education Gym Zone at Crayside 🤸‍♂️

Looking for a fun and active daytime session for your home-schooled child?

Our dedicated Home Education Gym Zone runs every Thursday at Crayside Leisure Centre from 09:30 – 10:30 and is aimed at children up to 11 years old.

Children can enjoy unstructured active play using gymnastics equipment, soft play shapes, and fun movement activities, all at their own pace.

It’s a great way for home-schooled children to:

✅ Stay active during the day
✅ Build confidence
✅ Improve coordination and balance
✅ Socialise with other children
✅ Add regular movement and variety to their week

Perfect for families who home educate and want a fun, supportive space for their child to explore, move and play.

Our long standing community partner, and hirer of our Crayside venue achieved some fantastic results last weekend.

The Karate squad went to the East England Karate Championships with a squad of 16 students and they came back with a massive haul of 31 medals. And added to that, coach Nicole received the prestigious accolade of “coach of the day”.

☀️ Hot Weather Reminder for Gymnastics Classes This Week

With extremely hot weather expected in the gym this week, we’re asking parents to help us keep children as comfortable and safe as possible.

Please ensure children arrive well hydrated before their session and wear suitable clothing, such as a short-sleeve leotard or T-shirt/vest with shorts.

We will also have air conditioning machines positioned at both ends of the gym, which children can use for a short time if they feel too hot during their class.

On any day this week where the temperature reaches over 30°C, we will provide free bottled water for children in the gym.

Thank you for your support in helping us keep everyone cool, safe and ready to enjoy their session
