Hello Treacle: kids' cooking parties

Unfortunately we remain closed for cooking parties until social distancing measures are fully relaxed. Our parties are hands-on and interactive and simply can't run under current government guidelines. We will be up and running again as soon as guidelines allow.

This would normally be one of our busiest times for cooking parties. Under tier 2 restrictions on households mixing indoors, our parties can't go ahead 😢

We will be up and running once we're allowed to do so safely xx

Please do contact The Cooking Shed if you're in the West Wickham area - they are kindly offering lunches this Friday for those in need x

No child should go hungry...so we're doing our bit this half term and making/giving away 50 packed lunches on Friday 30 October to collect from The Cooking Shed. If you/someone you know has a child that needs lunch on Friday, just pop us an email [email protected] (no questions asked!) and we'll send you details of how and when to collect from The Cooking Shed in West Wickham. The lunch will include a sandwich, pack of crisps, drink and a piece of fruit. We're afraid that when they're gone, they're gone so please do email first to check availability.

🍃 Reduce, reuse, recycle 🍃

At Hello Treacle HQ we’re always looking to minimise waste, reuse and recycle wherever we can. For our kids’ cooking parties we....

✅ Recycle or compost all food waste

✅ Reuse the famous IKEA kids’ plates, cups and bowls for every party

✅ Provide recyclable paper party bags, pizza boxes and cake boxes

✅ Are replacing stickers with an ink stamp to label our party bags

✅ Avoid single use plastic wherever possible

✅ Provide recipe cards and cookie cutters in our party bags - no plastic rubbish that will break on the way home!

🧁 Baking parties 🧁 with Hello Treacle have been so popular this year!

Party guests make a batch of cupcakes from scratch, then decorate them to their chosen theme.

We’ve had unicorns, foxes, Frozen-themed snowflake cakes, flowers, pigs, under the sea theme and even little Hedwig cakes for a Harry Potter party!

Choosing a theme makes each party individual for the birthday child and their guests 🥰

💫 Harry Potter themed party 💫 in Greenwich yesterday!

We set up our very own school of witchcraft & wizardry with hat making followed by chocolate cupcakes. Our 13 party guests transformed their cakes into little Hedwig owls to take home 🦉
