I started off DJing on the radio and hosting my own show (which is still available to download via iTunes/Soundcloud) but I now run my own business - DJ Jay Q Music, providing entertainment for high-end weddings, corporate clients, private events and bar residencies in London. I'm currently one of the resident DJs at the Falcon in Cla

pham North, Slug & Lettuce Croydon and All Bar One Leicester Square. I've also DJd at Empire Casino, Eaton Square Bar in Victoria, Attic Bar in Canary Wharf, Archer Street Cocktail Bar in Soho and XOYO in Shoreditch. High-end venues I've played at include The Gherkin, The Dorchester, Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Hyde Park, Twickenham Stadium and Oval Cricket Ground. I was also chosen to DJ the ‘wrap party’ for the cast of the Inbetweeners 2 movie in 2014. My style is to totally enjoy myself behind the decks & play tunes the crowd want to hear – interacting & buzzing off them, bringing the energy to the room with the odd surprise here or there!

is set to introduce a new chapter at with the launch of his .event residency on 26 May and 2 June 2026, built around a strict no phone policy on the dancefloor. In an era where club culture is often filtered through screens, this concept aims to bring the focus back to what truly matters inside the club: the music, the atmosphere and the shared energy between the DJ and the crowd.

On these two exclusive dates at Pacha Ibiza, guests will be encouraged to disconnect from their devices and fully immerse themselves in the moment. The initiative reflects a growing desire within the electronic music community to restore authenticity to nightlife spaces and protect the dancefloor as a place of real connection.

For Chris Stussy, this is more than just another residency. It is a statement about preserving the essence of club culture in one of Ibiza’s most iconic venues. And for Pacha Ibiza, it marks a bold move towards bringing the focus back to the music. 📵🍒

So many people will never know the feeling of buying a cassette, rushing home, tearing off the plastic, and opening the case like it’s treasure. Reading every credit, every thank you note, every name, then pressing play and letting the music hit for the first time. It wasn’t just listening it was an experience. And it felt personal.
