It was one of four new live tracks recorded at Abbey Road with Chris Bolster and Joe Wyatt for the deluxe edition.

Kevin Parker’s Orchid has found its way to Abbey Road... But what exactly is it? 👀

Developed by Telepathic Instruments, the ORC-1 is a chord-generating synthesiser designed to spark creativity and get ideas flowing. 🎹

With just 12 keys, it can generate complex chords, explore different voicings and build progressions, alongside three synth engines, a bass synth, effects, looping and a built-in drum machine.

Think less music theory, more experimenting, discovering new sounds and seeing where an idea takes you 🎶

We’re deeply saddened to hear of the passing of composer George Fenton 🤍

A true musical genius, George was a much-loved friend and long-standing client of Abbey Road.

We’re grateful to have welcomed him into our home so many times over the years, where he worked on scores for ‘Dangerous Liaisons’, ‘Memphis Belle’, ‘The Fisher King’, ‘The Madness of King George’, ‘The Crucible’, ‘Bears’ and ‘The Old Oak’, among many others in his extraordinary body of work.

But for those who knew him at Abbey Road, George will also be remembered for the person he was: kind, gentle, funny and generous, with a way of making everyone around him feel comfortable and welcome.

We’re grateful to have welcomed him into our home over so many years.
