It invites the audience to delve into the concept of 'becoming-machine' through the exploration of digital and AI-assisted artworks. The becoming-machine refers to a process, where the subject undergoes a radical reconfiguration of its boundaries and identity by incorporating machinic elements. Machines, in this context, are not limited to mechanical devices but encompass a wide range of non-human entities, including technological apparatus, social systems, and abstract concepts.
Becoming-machine is a way to break free from fixed identities and predetermined subjectivities. It involves a creative exploration of potentialities, intensities, and flows of desire. By entering into a becoming-machine, the subject undergoes a process of transformation and opens itself to new connections, affects, and modes of existence. The becoming-machine disrupts established categories and generates new possibilities for thought, perception, and action.
