That feel when you get a standing ovation 👀

WOW. So proud of our artistic director John Livesey for putting on a stunning production of Heather at the Southwark Playhouse this week as part of the StoneCrabs Theatre Playdoh Festival.

If you came to see the show, we’d love to hear your feedback on it. Tweet us with the hashtag to give us your thoughts!

Oh and by the way, you best believe this won’t be the last you see of Heather. Like the final film of a beloved fantasy trilogy, stay tuned for Part Two…

Tomorrow! 8pm! Southwark Playhouse!

Klaxon’s Artistic Director John Livesey will be staging ‘Heather’ by Thomas Eccleshare as part of the Playdoh Young Directors Festival.

Starring Zara Tomlinson and Nelson Ekaragha, with videography from Dan Light. ‘Heather’ is fierce in both its form and interrogation of our values, perceptions and unwavering love for a good YA fantasy novel. (Jk Rowling ain’t nothing compared to Heather 💪)

Ticket link in bio, concession tickets also available.

Big shout out to the cast, crew and creative minds that made Amphibian so special. And to the Kings Head for hosting us!

It’s Tech day 💡

After an intense and exciting week of rehearsals, we are pumped to get into the theatre and let some sparks fly.

Ambitious and bold in it’s language and design; Amphibian is shaping up to be a rehearsed reading like no other. We’re so grateful for the support of our lighting and sound designers Jonathon Chan and Louis Grace. Read more about their work below ⬇️

Jonathan is currently a student at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. His past credits include: The Life of Olu (Golden Goose), Sticks and Stones, Time and Random (Tristan Bates), The Refuge (Barons Court). Jonathan continues to be inspired by the art of lighting and looks to forge a career as a lighting designer, upon graduation.

Louis Grace is an English composer, producer and sonic artist. Since 2019 Grace has released experimental punk music with their band Legss, most recently, the much anticipated sophomore EP DOOMSWAYERS.
Their work is critically praised from the likes of NPR, Clash and Metal Magazine - “The perfect level of disorientation and thought-provocation.”
In 2021, Grace branched out into film composing, creating a score of left field ambience, with an abundance of industrial lip yearning rave pop for The Reids highly revered film COLE BUXTON SB52. Since this exploration, Grace pursues his journey of collaboration down this road of happiness with like minded artists.
