Winner of the Brighton Fringe's Cabaret Award, Unforgettable: An Alzheimer's Cabaret! is a co-creation between performer director duo; Tamara Astor and Sophie Besse. A powerful and poetic cabaret clown show about Familial Alzheimer Disease, Unforgettable tells the story of Jane, senior carer and MC at Care Home Cabaret.

With a cast of improbable companions coming to the rescue, each carrying their bits of the story: Mischief sparkles, a Diva wails operatically, Lady Vivienne causes chaos and a funeral horse tries to make sense of it all.

It’s not long now until we close up our front doors for the summer. While the stage may be quiet we’ll be busy behind the scenes carrying out annual maintenance to keep us looking fresh and tidy for the season ahead.

Before we disappear though, we have a cracking final month of shows lined up. There’s plenty of comedy, cabaret and conversations to keep things lively and we’ve even got a spot of opera and ballet for the more cultured amongst us. (Sorry Timothée, definitely still alive!)

Across the month our air handling will be on full blast to keep you cool and comfortable so no matter what other apocalyptic heat waves get thrown our way, we’ll be ready!

Coming to see us this week? Worried about the soaring temperatures?🌡️🥵

Fear not, our air-handling system has definitely understood the assignment and is working overtime to keep things cool and comfortable. (Did somebody say employee of the month?)❄️

Free tap water is available at all our bars, and we've got plenty of ice-cold soft and alcoholic drinks ready to help you survive the heatwave. 🧊🍹

The past week's been a bit of a scorcher for sure, but June is also hot full of activity at the Bloomsbury Theatre. Fear not though, we have aircon! ✨

June sees the first ever artsUCL Fringe hitting our stages, amongst some of our regular visitors and for their summer showcases.

Bloomsbury favourites and are also joining the fray alongside some more celebratory UCL200 events so we're in for a real treat this month.

Our friends over at artsUCL are putting on the first ever UCL Fringe festival with events happening all across campus and we couldn't not be involved. There are over 50 incredible productions happening across 5 venues so there's something to suit everyone.
