Come and check out the quiz that Time Out says is one of the ‘50 Best Nights Out In London’ and that the Evening Standard calls the best quiz in London for movie buffs. Forget the idea of some old fart reading questions off a bit of paper (though admittedly I am getting on a bit), You're Gonna Need A Bigger Boat is a multimedia extravaganza - pictures, posters, sounds, music and clips - all projected onto a big screen - the only way a quiz dedicated to movies SHOULD be shown! Each month we screen the quiz: every third Tuesday in Brixton at Upstairs at the Ritzy (at the Ritzy Picturehouse cinema), every last Monday in London’s West End at the O’Neill’s Wardour Street, and also at The Lord Nelson pub in Brentford on the last Thursday of the month. We start promptly at 7:30pm (check times and dates for each venue), and entry is £7 per person (best get there early to grab a table). Prizes includes cinema tickets, Blu-ray, DVDs, soundtracks, books, and various other film-related goodies.

No quizzes for the rest of the summer. We'll be back at the Flamingo Room, O'Neill's, on 21st September - tickets go on sale 1st August at 11am.
