Honest
by Leah McLean

Thu 9 from 7pm to 9.30pm
Friday 10 June from 2pm to 4.30pm
Friday 10 June from 7pm to 9.30pm

Confessional by nature, HONEST explores the rawness of womanhood. This autobiographical piece delves into what it is that makes us become who we are. HONEST grants permission to admit our vulnerabilities, while attempting to reconnect with ourselves.

Life is indeed messy, its chaos, its pain, but overall it is beautiful. HONEST encourages finding beauty in the idiosyncrasies and favours the acceptance of flaws. From relationships, to motherhood, pending careers and a general fear of the future, HONEST looks at how our lives are constantly reshaped, realigned and restructured by the decisions that we make.

DECOMPOSITION
by Heather Woodhouse & TJ Roderick

Thu 9 June at 8.15pm
Friday 10 June at 2.15pm
Friday 10 June at 8.15pm

‘I don't like conversations about getting old and dying.’

There is a rat on the floor, there is a rat in these words and there is a rat under your skin. As you read this, you are ageing. Can you feel the skin creasing and drying at the edges of your eyes? Does the fear cling to you like a bad odor, the smell of rot and sewage and decay? There is no sense in being afraid. And there is no sense in being a phrase.
