'Holy Fool' is officially open at the Park Theatre – and the first reviews are here!

⭐⭐⭐⭐ “An extremely well created and performed piece of work, with strong character acting” — Spy in the Stalls.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ “A gripping study of art, Soviet censorship, and survival” — Read About Stuff.

"Highly impactful" — Theatre and Tonic.

“Could not be more timely” — Jewish News.

"Bursts with ambition and flair" — North West End.

His music made him. It could destroy him. Stalin denounces Shostakovich. Every note becomes a risk. Watched, tested and threatened, he must choose: resist — or comply. Holy Fool is a tense, darkly witty exploration or power and survival under pressure.

Booking now until 10 October via the Park Theatre Website: https://parktheatre.co.uk/events/holy-fool

Coming to London in 2025, Seagull: True Story transfers to Marylebone Theatre following a hugely successful run at New York’s La Mama.

When Russia’s invasion of Ukraine casts a shadow of censorship over Kon’s free-spirited reimagining of Chekhov’s The Seagull, the production is stripped down to a state-approved shell of its former self. Desperate to save his vision and his livelihood, Kon flees to New York. Torn between his Russian roots and a confounding American paradise, he tries to redefine himself as an artist, only to discover that regaining true freedom takes more than just a few thousand miles…

Inspired by true events, this bold and playful theatrical experience, packed full of “comedic mayhem that makes the audience roar” (Stage and Cinema), transfers to London after a hugely successful Off-Broadway run at La Mama. Acclaimed Russian director Alexander Molochnikov leads a stellar cast in a story of love, betrayal, and the struggle to make meaningful art in a world where the truth depends on who’s in charge.

Produced by MART and Wild Yak. Playing at Marylebone Theatre from 5th September - 11th October.
