Rock Goddess was formed in Wandsworth, South London in 1977 by sisters Jody Turner (vocals and guitar) and Julie Turner (drums & backing vocals) when they were thirteen and nine years old respectively. They were joined by high school friend Tracey Lamb, also thirteen (bass & backing vocals) to completed the line-up. Originally managed by john Turner, Rock Goddess were active during the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) musical movement.
