What a few days it has been already! The biggest Wh**ky Show so far has been in full swing this weekend and it has been a pleasure seeing the wh**ky loving community coming together to celebrate this incredible spirit.

A busy day, again, on the main stage and in the masterclass rooms with some incredible drams to discover.

Friday at Wh**ky Show

Today is the day! Alongside the 1,400 whiskies we've got a busy schedule of talks both on the free-to-attend mainstage and in our masterclasses.

There's plenty happening on the stands too with Macallan offering free engraving on any of their bottles purchased at the show, Highland Park are offering a curated food pairing and Glenrothes have shipped down their own beautiful soft water.

Our range of old and rare whiskies has always been something that defines The Wh**ky Exchange. So when we have the chance to share some of our favourite bottles we do, and Jason Vaswani has curated a lineup for the Old & Rare Zone at this year's show which is quite special by anyone's standards.

Among those whiskies we have a 1973 Laphoaig from Averys showing this Islay icon in its majestic maturity, the Longmorn Centenary 25 Year Old and a 1970s Glenfarclas-Glenlivet that show old school sherry at its best.

Every year, we search out exceptional casks from around the world to bottle specially for Wh**ky Show. For 2026, these exclusives take in distilleries from Scotland, the USA and England. Across the collection, we have worked closely with both distilleries and independent bottlers to curate a number of genuine firsts and unique releases. ⁠

That sees us unveiling the first-ever 12-year-old wh**ky from Ardnamurchan, alongside coveted single casks from Port Charlotte, ⁠Clynelish, K**b Creek, Jura and our Wh**ky of the Year, White Peak. ⁠

All six releases will be available to taste and buy exclusively at Wh**ky Show 2026, with limited allocations of these bottles available in the show shop for purchase each day.

With more than 1,400 drams to discover across the weekend, this is the biggest Wh**ky Show we have ever hosted. The range of whiskies available to taste has a truly global feel with expressions from the familiar like Scotland, Ireland, Japan and the USA joined by others that are ripe for discovery, including examples from China, Korea, New Zealand and our first Slovene wh**ky.

Alongside all that, we have the return of the Fever-Tree highball bar, a clutch of regional wh**ky zones and a dedicated Old & Rare zone to celebrate some truly spectacular whiskies.

There are still a limited number of tickets for the Sunday of the show.

The Revival of Rosebank with Neil Bulloch and Gordon Dundas

Sunday 4 October | 12:30pm-1:45pm

In the litany of fallen greats, Rosebank has loomed large. Its reputation for delicate, floral, expressive whiskies defined by elegance has only grown since it was closed in 1993.

Ian Macleod have now brought it back to life, and this class will be a chance to taste the new distillate alongside mature expressions from before the closure.

Every ticket to the show includes a highball token to redeem at the Fever-Tree bar. A splash of soda water can dramatically open up a wh**ky, revealing a new side and sometimes flavours that can be entirely unexpected.

The menu this year sees them partnering with 8 different wh**ky makers including Ardbeg, Glenmorangie and Tormore.
