I’m in trouble… with myself. 😂🤦🏾‍♂️

Two days. No gym.

And after literally telling you guys “IT’S NOT UP FOR DISCUSSION”… I’ve now got to hold myself accountable too. 😂

I’ve just pulled up to my tutoring session and normally I’d be thinking about going straight home afterwards…

Not tonight.

When I finish, I’m going straight to the gym. No going home first. No getting comfortable. No negotiating with myself.

Because consistency doesn’t mean you never miss a day.

It means you don’t let a couple of missed days turn into a couple of weeks.

Tonight = +1. ➕1️⃣

See you at the gym. 🫡

I’m not making this poor lighting thing a habit 😂 but this is the situation…

I don’t normally train on Sundays. Sunday is usually my day off.

But I missed the gym yesterday.

I could’ve written the weekend off and told myself, “I’ll start again Monday.”

Instead, I adjusted. I’m here. I’m getting it done. 💪🏾

And maybe somebody needs to hear this:

Failure is NOT the same as quitting.

You can miss a day.
You can mess up.
You can fall short.
You can get something completely wrong.

None of that means you have to quit.

Failure gives you an opportunity to learn, adjust and come back better.

Quitting is when you decide you’re done.

So if you failed at something this week, don’t turn one setback into a reason to stop.

Adjust. Get back up. Keep moving.

No perfect lighting. No glitz and glamour. Just showing up. 🫡

The lighting is terrible. 🌑😂
It’s 9pm. I’d much rather have gone this morning.

But it’s not up for discussion.

I’m not debating with myself.
I’m not looking for an excuse.
I’m not getting comfortable and saying, “I’ll go tomorrow.”

I took my son to basketball, came home… and I’m straight back out to the gym.

Because sometimes consistency looks like perfect conditions, loads of energy and everything going to plan.

And sometimes it looks like **9pm, no lighting, tired… but getting it done anyway.

Whatever that thing is that you said you were going to do — get up and do it.

Stop negotiating with yourself. Stay consistent. ➕1️⃣

I’m sure I’m not the only one who didn’t feel like going to the gym today 😂

But I’ve realised something…

Sometimes it’s not about motivation. It’s about the numbers game.

I go to the gym → +1
I don’t go → -1

One session might not feel like much. But keep adding those +1s over time and eventually, the numbers start to speak for themselves.

You don’t have to feel motivated every day.
Sometimes you just have to show up.

+1. Keep stacking. 🧱

Adjust your feelings according to the seasons. 🌱🙏🏾

Not every season of your life is going to feel the same.

Some seasons will feel like everything is falling into place.
Some will challenge you.
Some will require patience.
Some will require you to slow down.

And that’s okay.

Don’t judge your entire life based on the season you’re currently in.

It’s just a season. It will change.

Whatever season you’re in right now, give yourself grace. ❤️

I’ve just done it again… I’ve gone and done something I’ve always wanted to do, and honestly, it feels GREAT! 🙌🏾

And because of the feeling I’m having right now, I just want to encourage you guys to go and do the same.

Do something you’ve never, ever done before.

Something you’ve always wanted to do but maybe kept putting off. Something you’ve been scared to try. Something you’ve been waiting for the “right time” to do.

Because one thing I’ve realised is that you don’t want to live life with regrets.

The biggest regret might not be that you tried something and it didn’t work out — it could be that you **never tried at all.

At least if you go for it and it doesn’t work out, you can say, “You know what? I tried. I did it.”

And who knows? It might just change your life. 🔥

So go out there. Do something you’ve never done before.

Thank me later. 😂

I’ll catch you in the next video! ✌🏾🥁

🙏🏾Another Monday Motivation!

Today, I did something I’ve never done before… and honestly, it feels GREAT! 🙌🏾

It reminded me that sometimes, the best way to grow is simply to step outside of what we already know and try something new.

So here’s your challenge this week:

👉🏾 Do something you’ve NEVER EVER done before.

It doesn’t have to be something massive. Try something new. Take a different approach. Push yourself outside your comfort zone.

Then come back and comment below and let me know how it made you feel.👇🏾

And if you’re someone who regularly challenges yourself to do things you’ve never done before, I want to hear from you too!

What did you do, and how does it make you feel? 💭🤔

Let’s inspire each other to keep growing, keep learning and keep pushing ourselves.

New week. New experience. New version of you.💪🏾
