Tonight, violinist Noah Bendix-Balgley makes his debut at the Salzburger Festspiele | Salzburg Festival in a chamber concert.

Noah will be joined by violist Tabea Zimmermann, clarinetist Daniel Ottensamer, horn player Stefan Dohr, and pianist Kirill Gerstein for a programme of Brahms, György Kurtág, R. Schumann and Ligeti.

This evening, Chief Conductor Lahav Shani leads the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra in the first of two concerts this weekend at Grafenegg.

Lahav will pair Brahms' Piano Concerto No.1 in D minor with Beethoven's Symphony No.3 in E-flat Major, 'Eroica', before leading a programme of J. Wagenaar, Mozart and Brahms tomorrow night.

Six Intermusica artists have been shortlisted for this year’s Gramophone Awards, across the Chamber, Concerto, Opera, Orchestral and Song categories.

Congratulations to Adèle Charvet, Ryan Bancroft, the Pavel Haas Quartet, Vera-Lotte Boecker, Christopher Purves and John Wilson.

The winners will be announced at the Gramophone Awards ceremony on Wednesday 7 October.

Anja will lead a programme of Bushra El-Turk's 'Mosaic', Haydn's Symphony No. 45 in F-sharp minor, ‘Farewell’, and Mahler's 'Das Lied von der Erde'.

This evening, cellist Maximilian Hornung will return to Schloss Johannisberg at the Rheingau Festival for Cellomania, joining five fellow cellists in a programme arranged entirely for six cellos.

Wagner's Prelude to 'Tristan und Isolde' will be followed by Tchaikovsky's 'Rococo Variations' and Symphony No.5, transforming these orchestral scores into a unique chamber setting.

Tonight, Samy Moussa leads the Camerata Prima Wien in the first of two concerts this week across Austria.

Starting at Große Universitätsaula in Salzburg, Samy will conduct the Austrian premiere of his own Concerto for violin and orchestra “Adrano”, and Beethoven's Symphony No.5 in C minor. An additional concert follows on 23 August at Vienna's Albert Hall.

This evening, Chief Conductor Ryan Bancroft leads the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra in a concert at Stockholm Concert Hall.

Violinist Renaud Capuçon returns to the Salzburg Festival this week for two chamber music appearances.

This evening, he is joined by clarinettist Pascal Moraguès, fellow Intermusica artist cellist Kian Soltani, and pianist Hélène Mercier for a late-evening performance of Olivier Messiaen's Quatuor pour la fin du Temps at the Stiftung Mozarteum

Tomorrow evening, Renaud reunites with longtime collaborator Martha Argerich for a recital of R. Schumann, Debussy and Beethoven at the Haus für Mozart.
