🚨 PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT — THE ALT STAGE IS GOING AHEAD!🚨

After what can only be described as an absolute rollercoaster behind the scenes, we can finally say it…

THE SHOW IS ON. 🔥

On behalf of Sam @ Deepsync, we’ve battled through fire regulations, last-minute changes, logistical curveballs and enough red tape to test even the most patient of people.

There have been moments when this weekend looked like it might not happen. Plans have changed, plans have changed again, and then changed one more time for good measure.

But like a phoenix rising from the ashes, the ALT Stage has survived.

⚠️ ONE IMPORTANT CHANGE — FRIDAY ⚠️

Due to the final adjustments and fire regulations, Friday’s session will now run from 5PM – 10PM.

That’s right — we’re still opening the doors, the music is still happening, and we’re ready to make those five hours count.

Saturday and Sunday are ON — opening at 12PM and running through until 10PM. 🔊

🎟️ PAY ON THE DOOR

After everything that’s gone on, we’ve decided to keep things simple.

£10 on the door.

No complicated booking process. Just turn up, pay your tenner and get involved.

And there’s an even better reason to come along — a portion of all proceeds will be donated to charity.❤️

So after all the chaos, paperwork, regulations and last-minute madness…

WE MADE IT.

The ALT Stage is happening.

Three days of alternative sounds, different crowds, big tunes and a completely different atmosphere to the main festival.

We’re almost there.

The Friday, Saturday & Sunday line-ups are now announced, and the ALT Stage is ready to bring something a little different to this year’s Rhythm & Blues Festival.

Three days. Three very different sounds.

🎧 Friday– Eclectic selections and vinyl-only sets from around the world.

🔊 Saturday – Drum & Bass, Jungle, serious sound system pressure… plus a fantastic opening band.

✈️ Sunday – Deep House, Tech House & Dirty Disco to keep you grooving all day.

We've put a lot into making this something that complements the main festival while giving you a completely different atmosphere to disappear into.

Sunday – Airplane Mode 🎶

Sunday is dedicated to deep house, tech house and dirty disco, with a line-up focused on quality selectors and dancefloor-driven sounds.

Expect everything from deep, rolling grooves and soulful vocals to tougher, more stripped-back rhythms, taking you through the full spectrum of house music across the day. Whether you're into deeper sounds, disco-influenced cuts or big energy, Airplane Mode brings together a range of DJs with their own approach while keeping the focus firmly on the dancefloor.

The 2026 ALT STAGE for the Rhythm & Blues Festival

This year, for the Rhythm & Blues Festival, Deepsync presents the ALT Stage – a four-day celebration of alternative sounds, eclectic rhythms, and underground culture from across the globe. Daily from 12 noon until 11pm.

An alternative weekend of eclectic audio from around the world.
With four days and four completely different vibes, the ALT Stage has been programmed to take festival-goers on a musical journey through diverse genres, cultures and sounds, showcasing artists who push boundaries and champion creativity.

Friday – Open All Ears

A day dedicated to musical discovery. Expect an eclectic mix of selectors digging deep into their collections to bring quality sounds from around the world. From rare grooves and global rhythms to forgotten gems and underground classics, this is a vinyl-only affair celebrating the art of selection and the joy of listening.

Saturday – Deepsync:DnB

Saturday turns things up with a full day of high-energy drum & bass and jungle. Expect heavyweight basslines, rolling breaks and big bass energy from start to finish. Adding an unexpected twist we will be opening up the day with the world renown System of a down tribute, THE KOMBUCHA MUSHROOM PEOPLE.

Sunday – Airplane Mode

Sunday we switch gears into the world of deep house, tech house & dirty disco. From uplifting grooves and soulful vocals to gritty sounds, it’s all about good vibes, dancing with friends and soaking up the atmosphere.

Monday – Live Music

And we’re not finished yet!
Bank Holiday Monday brings the ALT Stage back to the festivals roots with a day of live music, featuring a selection of the best alternative bands from around the area.

Saturday – Deepsync:DnB 🔊

Saturday at the ALT Stage is where things get seriously heavy with a full day of Drum & Bass and Jungle.

Expect heavyweight basslines, punchy highs and enough sound system pressure to shake The Arthouse from midday right through until 11pm.

Before we unleash the bass bins, we'll be kicking things off with the renowned System Of A Down tribute – The Kombucha Mushroom People. They will be bringing all the chaos, energy and classics you'd expect from one of metal's most iconic bands. It's the perfect way to open a day built of pure energy.
