Garry Wykes 'History Talks' Garry Wykes is a Retired Jewel House Warden, HM Tower of London and a Freeman of the City of London. He lectures to Probus Club Luncheons, U3A groups etc.

Garry Wykes has lived in London since 1992 and was employed at the Tower of London as a Jewel House Warden from 1997-2009 providing guided tours to VIP's and explaining the artefacts to the general public. Now retired he gives several interesting and entertaining Historical talks to interested groups and onboard cruise ships. He served as a volunteer Olympic Games Maker during the 2012 London Olympic Games and Paralympics in the Protocol Team at the ExCel centre in east London. Garry previously worked for ICI Pharmaceuticals Division (now Astra Zeneca) in Cheshire for 26 years and was at one time a Borough Councillor in Macclesfield, Cheshire. He became a Freeman of the City of London in July 2015. In July 2017, Garry Wykes became a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Joiners and Ceilers of the City of London.
