This one was extra special, Tavaziva was also there for the very first edition of the festival in 2007, and we’re so proud to be back!

✨ Tavaziva Dance is heading to Oxford! ✨

We’re delighted to be presenting Bawren Tavaziva’s Requiem at the 20th anniversary of Dancin’ Oxford on Saturday 27 June.

Performed by Jessica Chambers and Yanki Yau, Requiem will be brought to life three times throughout the day at Leiden Square, Westgate Oxford.

We’re especially excited to return to a festival where Tavaziva Dance performed at its very first edition back in 2007 – a wonderful full-circle moment!

Bawren Tavaziva returned to the renowned International Dance Festival in , this March 2026, alongside company dancer

Together with local dancer , they created a new version of — Bawren’s critically acclaimed work first performed at the in 2025. This powerful collaboration was presented at the Festival’s stunning new venue, , where it was met with an enthusiastic response.

A firm favourite at the festival, Bawren Tavaziva also led a popular masterclass with Norwegian dance students.
