This Friday, 9th of October, at the T-Bird Comedy Club, we welcome Rez Bhatt.

There is something distinctive about a comedian who has lived in more than one world. Rez was born in South Africa, raised in London, and carries Indian roots, a combination that informs his stand-up comedy in ways that feel specific and surprising in equal measure.

His style is fast-paced and conversational, built on storytelling and wry observation. He does not linger, the ideas come quickly, the laughs follow close behind, and by the end of a set, a room has been taken somewhere it did not expect to go.

John Sharp is on. When they made John, they broke the mould. And the machine that made the mould. Then they executed everyone involved in the whole ‘Make John Sharp project’. (Just in case.)

Ask Alex Love any question about squid. He will know the answer. He hails from Stroud, Gloucestershire and has been performing since 2005, he is best known for his highly popular, interactive solo show How to Win a Pub Quiz, which has been a staple of the Edinburgh festival since 2014 and has toured in New Zealand.

Here at the T-Bird we believe that whatever someone has done in the past, no matter how heinous, they deserve a second chance. So, we also welcome:

Daniel Ruiz Tizon:

“Audiences can expect a forensic analysis of life’s daily agonies, which I personally find extremely difficult. Big things I can do without giving them much thought. An important meeting, run a 10k, a big gig, I just go into automaton mode. But having to step outside of the building when a neighbour might be out there and SMALL talk is likely required to navigate that moment, things like that have always been a massive problem for me. Give me goal-orientated high stakes over social unpredictability with no clear objective any day.”

Ana Little:

Ana has just returned from Edinburgh, where she performed her show ‘Dating through the ages.’ She also runs the Frenzy comedy club. was born in Romania and moved to Scotland at the age of five before later moving to London. Ana is the daughter of a Vicar.

Jack Hennison:

Expect musings from an aging indie kid (although he prefers you use the Latin postus-punkus). Jack is a graduate of the Jeff Innocent Comedy Academy.

The summer break is over.

Kirk Fontaine is on again. He’s one of the most exciting musical comedians around.

And new to the Blackstock Road is Holly Hudson. She’s American and reminds me of a female David Sedaris.

Paul Laight returns too. He’s performed at renowned comedy clubs such as The Comedy Store, Up the Creek and Banana Cabaret.

This Friday, 17th of July, is the last show at the T-Bird Comedy Club before our summer break.

And we’re going out with a bang.

Gobby cockney Nicole Harris is returning. She’s been running shows in Vauxhall but is back in our Finsbury Park basement for one night only.

Next up is one of the finest musical comedians around. Kirk Fontaine will deliver short, but clever and hilarious ditties to your lugholes.

Also on the bill is Jimmy Gee who is from Hull and John Sharp who is from another planet.

They are supported by Lluis Gonzales and Ben Davies.

With high energy and huge likeability, she talks about motherhood, being a sign language interpreter and she’ll also probably mention winning the Not So New Comedian Of The Year Competition.
