This Friday, 17th of July, is the last show at the T-Bird Comedy Club before our summer break.

And we’re going out with a bang.

Gobby cockney Nicole Harris is returning. She’s been running shows in Vauxhall but is back in our Finsbury Park basement for one night only.

Next up is one of the finest musical comedians around. Kirk Fontaine will deliver short, but clever and hilarious ditties to your lugholes.

Also on the bill is Jimmy Gee who is from Hull and John Sharp who is from another planet.

They are supported by Lluis Gonzales and Ben Davies.

How the night works is that we have a mix of mostly experienced acts and some newer people. It’s always fun.

The free comedy evening starts at 8.15 but it’s worth arriving early, as up until eight, there’s a special offer on their superb cocktails. You’ll find this amazing, friendly, family-run bar at 132, Blackstock Road.

A cold, dark basement.

Sounds inviting, doesn’t it? Especially when you consider that, on Friday 26th of June, that basement will contain some ice cool comedians.

It would be great to see you and, if you do venture down, you’ll see:

Fred Barber
Ana Little
Callum McKenzie
Daniel Ruiz Tizon
Rachel Carmichael
Sam Adamson
Dean Helliwell
Stig

On Friday (19th of June) Siobhan Dodds is coming to the T-Bird Comedy Club in Finsbury Park:

With high energy and huge likeability, she talks about motherhood, being a sign language interpreter and she’ll also probably mention winning the Not So New Comedian Of The Year Competition.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Xbl6k9PI78

Peter Callaghan will then bring a touch of magic to the proceedings. You certainly get variety at the T-Bird.

Rez Bhatt is on too. There is something distinctive about a comedian who has lived in more than one world. Rez Bhatt was born in South Africa, raised in London, and has Indian roots, a combination that informs his stand-up comedy in ways that feel specific and surprising in equal measure.

His style is fast-paced and conversational, built on storytelling and wry observation. He does not linger, the ideas come quickly, the laughs follow close behind, and by the end of a set, a room has been taken somewhere it did not expect to go. He is one of the more interesting rising acts on the London comedy scene. He’s the kind of comedian that makes you wish you had seen him sooner.

Also appearing on Friday are the fandabbydozy:

Leo Janneti
Tony Carr
Josh Taylor
Olly Miller

Did you know that there has been comedy at the T-Bird bar in Finsbury Park, every Friday for around 15 years?

It’s now one of London’s best established comedy landmarks and the audience numbers just keep growing and growing.

This Friday, 5th of June, if you come along you’ll see why. Boy, do we have another cracking evening of entertainment for you:

Fred Barber is on:

Fred’s themes encompass dyspraxia, addiction, and social alienation.

He has performed all over the UK and Los Angeles and has written for major entertainment networks including Channel 4, BBC 3, and YouTube Premium.

He's also devised, written and created a number of high-profile advertising campaigns across TV and other media for globally recognised brands including Toyota and Acne Studios.

Mel Byron is also appearing:

Mel has combined being a comedian and performer with working in marketing and sales. She has performed in comedy clubs and spoken word nights across London and the South East. Mel’s comedy style is warm and inclusive and she loves audience interaction. Being a more mature comedian gives her a particular outlook on life, which works well with both a mature audience, as well as a younger demographic.

Also on the bill are the equally outstanding - is that an oxymoron I think it is, isn’t it?

John Sharp
Sean Little
Kathryn Haywood
Matthew Mckew
