Helsinki was a dream!
Thank you to all the people who came to the last concert of our summer tour at the magnificent Helsinki Cathedral.
We all had a blast, truly on cloud nine (though the cloudberries eluded us to the end).
Many thanks to OOP for arranging it - next year's tour has gigantic shoes to fill.

Last but definitionally definitely not least, it’s the leadership team of the ICCC 2024/2025 committee: Liv, Pablo and Robin! Our esteemed chair Liv is the guiding force behind everything we do, ensuring that ICCC sails smoothly under her captaincy and that our voices stay united. Pablo is our Secretary, given the formidable duty of keeping us organised, making sure we never miss a key update or rehearsal detail. Rounding up this powerhouse trio we have our financial wizard Robin. As Treasurer he makes sure our budget stays in tune so we can keep being us and making music! With this uber-reliable exec team at the helm, we’re set for an amazing year ahead. Stay tuned for updates of our tour next week!

These two are the guardians of all things sheet music, making sure you’ve got everything you need to hit the right notes. Whether it’s sorting music for rehearsals or figuring out how to share the only key to the library, they’ve got it under control. Join us tomorrow to meet the final 3 members of the committee!

New year, new committee! We’re super excited to introduce the first batch of our 2024/2025 lineup - social secretaries Pal and Clara! In charge of keeping you entertained enough so that you’re happily distracted from how much you miss rehearsal, they already have some incredible socials lined up to welcome you into ICCC!

Pal is also doing double duty as our Chums and Alums officer (do we have to rename it to Pals and Als?), in charge of connecting us with all our treasured past members and friends!

Keep an eye out for our posts this week to meet the rest of committee...

What a way to end an incredible year! Thank you so much to everyone who came to this year’s final concert. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did performing. We are also incredibly grateful for everyone at Holy Trinity South Kensington, for providing our incredible Baroque instrumentalists, and to ICCC alumnus .jackson1709 , who was supreme on the chamber organ. We hope to see you all for our projects next year!

Don’t forget to tune into our evensong on the 17th July!

Tickets for our final concert of the year are now on sale!

We will be performing Dieterich Buxtehude’s ‘Membra Jesu Nostri’ in collaboration with instrumentalists from Historical Performance. Composed in 1680, this series of cantatas contemplates on different body parts of the crucified Christ, starting at his feet and ending at his face. The whole piece is as moving as it is exhilarating, with sections for full choir, solo voices, and orchestra. Our performance with the historically accurate instruments from the Royal College of Music will enable us to showcase this Baroque masterpiece at its very best.

7:30pm Wednesday 26th June at Holy Trinity South Kensington, Prince Consort Road, SW7 2BA

Tickets are £10 for standard entry or £5 for students. Available on the Imperial College Union website or in our bio.
