🎉 What a day! East Finchley Festival 2026 was a total success, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make it happen. A huge THANK YOU to every single person who participated, supported, performed, visited and celebrated with us. 💛

Thank you to our amazing sponsors, our wonderful community, all the talented performers, food vendors, market stalls, community groups, and everyone who gave their time, energy and support to make the festival so special.

And a very special thank you goes to our incredible volunteers ❤️ From months of planning behind the scenes to setting up, stewarding, selling raffle tickets, coordinating activities and packing everything away at the end of the day. This festival simply would not exist without you.

East Finchley Festival is run entirely by volunteers. The festival is built through the dedication of people giving their time because they care deeply about bringing our community together and keeping this event free for everyone.

Seeing Cherry Tree Wood filled with music, laughter, dancing, families, and neighbours enjoying the day together makes all of the hard work worthwhile.

🎉🥁 Join the East Finchley Festival Parade this Sunday! 🥁🎉

Neighbours, families, friends and everyone in between: come and help us kick off the festival with colour, music and lots of happy energy 🌈✨

📍 Meet at Martin Primary School, Plane Tree Walk, N2 9JP
⏰ Meet at 11:00am | Ready to leave at 11:30am

We’ll have live drumming at the front of the parade to give us rhythm as we dance, clap and march our way to Cherry Tree Wood to officially open the festival 🎶💃🕺

Bring:
👏 Your biggest smiles
👏 Your clapping hands
👏 Your dancing feet
👏 Anything that makes you want to move and celebrate!

Whether you come dressed up, bring instruments, wave flags, or just bring your wonderful self, everyone is welcome 💛

I will be there from 12.30-1pm offering a free guided meditation session.

This is a chance to step away from the bustle of the festival for a few quiet minutes and simply breathe.

East Finchley Festival is a wonderful community event, and I am so looking forward to being part of it.

If you've been curious about meditation and have never quite found the moment to try it, this is the gentlest possible introduction…completely free and right on the doorstep.

💛 It’s Volunteers’ Week! 💛

As East Finchley Festival approaches, we’d like to say a huge thank you to all the volunteers who make the festival possible.

From the team who spend months planning the event, to the amazing people who help with set-up, stewarding, raffle ticket sales, and keeping everything running smoothly on the day. We couldn’t do it without you 🌟

East Finchley Festival is entirely volunteer-run, and every year hundreds of hours are given by local people who care about bringing our community together. Thank you for your time, energy and enthusiasm ❤️

We’re still looking for a few extra helping hands for Sunday 21 June. Whether you can spare an hour or a whole afternoon, we’d love to hear from you.

There are lots of roles available, including:

🎪 Activity and merchandise tent helpers
🔨 Set-up and pack-down crew
