🫧 Next up on the compilation is ja.cklyn with her track “floating”. She started making this track after leaving a club one morning, feeling nostalgic, hopeful, and full of emotion. She wanted to capture that unique feeling you get at the end of an unforgettable night when you’re reflecting on everything that’s happened but also excited for what’s ahead. The track is about euphoria, new beginnings, and love, with warm melodies and uplifting energy that build into something emotional. It gives her goosebumps, sends chills down my spine, and leaves me with a real sense of wonder every time I hear it.

Jacklyn is a techno DJ and Producer based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK. With DJ Mag including her in their emerging artists spotlight, Resident Advisor picking her HOR set as mix of the day and with a powerful RAW podcast under her belt, JACKLYN leaves no doubt why she is a selector to look out for. In her contribution to the mix series, the Newcastle-based DJ and producer blends timeless percussive tracks with more minimalistic European Techno styles and spheric soundscapes.

Next up on our compilation is the one and only Tom Place with his track ‘Something About You’.

Tom Place is a genre fluid producer, DJ & label owner; cooking up everything from electro to footwork in his London based laboratory. He runs his label Hedplace Synthetics Inc with co - conspirator & Melbourne based producer - 𝐇 𝐄 𝐃 𝐂 𝐇 𝐄 𝐅
Tom Place is a genre fluid bass producer whose sound is as can only be described as fun, hard & sexy—a sonic cocktail suited to late-night warehouse sessions. Born in the UK & based in London, Tom began experimenting with music production aged sixteen, with roots in UK dubstep and breaks. His sound has since evolved into a bold, artistic voice that thrives on fusing genres & BPM’s. Tom’s music is a heady collision of breakbeat, techno, electro, and UK bass. His tracks aim to subvert expectations; with an intensity that feels both futuristic and steeped in underground tradition.

Since his breakout release on Bade Records in 2019; Tom has continued to sharpen his craft and expand his vision. he’s contributed the downtempo ‘seven odd hours’ which blends 90s synth nostalgia with film vocals for a proper after-hours adventure, fusing heavy bass with soft, lo-fi tones and organic breakbeat drums

with his self-titled manual smiles label, enno has long pushed alternative electronica rooted in psychedelic sounds from artists like , .island.music, Kalani, and while hosting parties in London at the likes of The Carpet Shop and Queen’s Yard Summer Party

Next up on the VA are dear friends of the label : the Australian-American electronic duo carving out a distinctive space in the global underground. Fusing the raw pulse of early Chicago house and Detroit techno with the breakbeat energy, acid textures, and proggy flair of the ’90s UK rave era, their music delivers both emotional depth and peak-time intensity. Since coming together in 2016, they’ve built a sound bridging the intimacy of basement sessions with the scale of festival stages.

With roots in Melbourne and California, X & Ivy’s sonic identity is born from contrast. X was raised on Aussie pub rock, disco, and electronica, while Ivy grew up on a steady diet of soul, hardcore, and house. They met at USC and quickly clicked—bonding over late-night sessions, shared ambition, and a deep passion for the dancefloor, leading them to release with labels like , , , and more, continuing to establish their raw, club-focused credentials.

Between Hours VA Compilation out today!

We are pleased to welcome Scaefa, Jacklyn, Sempra, ergens elsewhere, Tom Place, X&Ivy, Ibn Itaka x Bakuels, Niamh, Eula, Angel Cat and Colombian Drone Mafia to our third compilation.

Our third VA was born out of the theme “Between Hours”, a prompt poised at each producer and contributor, asking them to make a track based on the feeling when they leave a party and are between hours.

Saturday 18 April | 12pm – 7pm | Happening at Muro, London

Join us for a special daytime celebration of our upcoming VA and limited print zine Between Hours.

This intimate day party at London’s favourite climbing-gym will feature an eclectic line-up of DJs playing across ambient, breakbeats, left-field techno and emotional club sounds, all inspired by that reflective “between hours” feeling, the liminal space after the party ends, with options to climb, listen to music, participate in the talks and workshops with our community.
