We’re so happy to welcome label veteran Scaefa for his latest release, a 2 track euphoric, club-ready EP, inspired by the darker and more downtempo side of jungle, drum & bass, acid house and rave. 

“Trying to find an intersection between the classic sounds of labels like Metalheadz, and the driving trance and techno influences of labels like Neptune Discs felt like an exciting area to explore. They’re definitely intended for the club - I wanted to make sure they were upfront and in your face, whilst still having plenty of atmosphere, nostalgia and delicate moments weaved in too. It was fun to take pieces from various moments of dance music history and try to turn those into something new.” - Scaefa

Thank you for all the support so far on .bucle’s 4ever Sampling Love, the latest EP from the producer and visual artist from Murcia, Spain. His DJ career started in 2015 in the trap and vaporwave scene in Granada, and since then he has been involved in collectives and projects focused on club culture, Flamenco, breakbeats and more experimental sounds.

Get to know 1/2 of the creators behind our latest EP - Vorticis, created alongside 🦋

Manao is the project of the multidisciplinary Venezuelan artist Oswaldo Rodriguez. 

Born and raised in Maracaibo, Manao started to build his path alongside the city’s electronic scene, structuring his community and connecting with others through music. Combining a selection of UK Breakbeats & Detroit/Modern Electro to Jacking Techno, Warehouse Rave, and energised Jungle, he brings a fresh perspective to the dance floor and  a unique take on today’s underground music scene. 

Manao has delivered a convergence of different influences to venues around the globe and is now based in Berlin where he dedicates his time to music production and his DJ research, constantly aiming to rescue his heritage and blend it with all the references he has acquired throughout the years.

In addition to Djing and producing, Manao is also a part of Program and Control, an electronic music platform and label based between Cologne, Berlin and Brasilia. The label aims to highlight the interlocutions and dissonances between artists from Latin America and Europe and to bring local  scenes to a global projection.
