South London SwingFest is a festival of big band swing, vintage style and dancing at London's iconic live music venue The Bedford in Balham - with swing dance workshops for all levels, family-friendly afternoon tea dance, and an evening dance with two fantastic live bands!

"Our regulars will know that we usually run our Summer and Winter swing balls at The Hammersmith Club, where A-Train (classes and dancing) continues every Monday - but this year we decided we wanted to up our game, and have found a very special new venue - still only 10 minutes walk from Hammersmith tube stations (and just 2 minutes from Ravenscourt Park), and with FREE PARKING all around! A beautiful historic building with loads of space, lovely facilities, and oodles of character. A great dance floor - of course - too! We'll be bringing in a proper cocktail bar too. Think of this event more on the lines of The Savoy Ball - don't miss the first one, on Saturday 21st June!"

4 days to go til SwingFest!

The dances are both now almost sold out, and there will be NO tickets on the door for those.

There are still a few places in most of the workshops - we are especially looking for leads for the two Balboa sessions, and there is plenty of room in the tap dance for advanced beginners. If you booked two workshops and didn't realise you could have booked three for the same price (!) please get in touch at [email protected] and we'll see what we can offer subject to availability and lead/follow balance (the three workshops must all be for the same person of course).
