Honouring the legacy of a countrywide revolution against occupation, EL TEATRO 1919 unveils the historical conflict between Egypt and the colonial British Empire. Inspired by real people, the play shows how censorship is used to control creatives for their political views. Come see the play to witness how changing the world is within the grasp of all of us.
