The new Herne Hill train benches have officially pulled into the station — and they’re packed with hidden characters and tiny surprises. Peek through the windows and you’ll spot penguins, a heron, owls, cats, ghosts, foxes and more watching the platform go by 👀✨

Designed for climbing, sitting, daydreaming and waiting for trains, these beautiful new benches are already making journeys through Herne Hill a little more magical.

Huge thanks to the Herne Hill Forum for organising the project, and to everyone who supported and helped bring these colourful carriages to life for the whole community 🙌

Next time you’re passing through, take a closer look… you might spot something new each time 🚉💙💛💚
