10 metų praėjo nuo apdovanojimo prestižiškiausiame šiuolaikinio portreto meno konkurse BP Portrait Award 2016 (pervadintas į Herbert Smith Freehils Kramer nuo 2024m.) Tuomet Travel Award laimėjau už tapybos kūrinį „Petras“ iš kūrinių ciklo „Lietuvos Kaime“. Konkurse, kurį kasmet Londone rengia Nacionalinė portretų galerija dalyvavau pirmą kartą.
Šiais metais Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer portretų konkurse laimėjo Marc Dalessio, Chloe Cox, Michael Slusakowicz ir Joel Nichols.
„2016m. solidžią vertinimo komisiją sudarė: Nacionalinės portretų galerijos direktorius Nicholas Cullinanas (pirmininkas), Škotijos nacionalinės portretų galerijos direktorius Christopheris Bakeris, rašytojas Alanas Hollinghurstas, šiuolaikinio meno kuratorė Sarah Howgate, tapytoja Jenny Saville, Jungtinės Karalystės Meno ir kultūros departamento direktorė Des Violaris, 2014 m. BP Portrait Award Antrojo prizo laimėtojas Richardas Twose’as, Nacionalinės portretų galerijos XX a. kolekcijos vyresnysis kuratorius Paulas Moorhouse’as, kuravęs tokias įsimintinas parodas kaip Pop Art Portraits (2007), Gerhard Richter Portraits (2009), The Great War in Portraits (2014), The Queen: Art and Image (2011–2012), Giacometti: Pure Presence (2015–2016), Howard Hodgkin Portraits (2017) ir kt.
Laura Guokė yra antroji Lietuvos menininkė, įvertinta šiame portretų konkurse, – 2002 m. Antrąjį BP Portrait Award prizą pelnė tapytojas Žygimantas Augustinas.”

Ten years have passed since I received an award at the BP Portrait Award 2016, then considered the world's most prestigious contemporary portrait competition (renamed the Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer Portrait Award in 2024). I was honoured with the Travel Award for my painting Petras, from the series In the Lithuanian Countryside. It was my first time participating in the competition, which is organized annually by the National Portrait Gallery in London.
This year, in the Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer Portrait Award, Marc Dalessio won first prize for his portrait Jean-Denis. Chloe Cox received second prize for What's Mine is Yours, while Michael Slusakowicz was awarded third prize for Charlie and Magda. Joel Nichols won the Young Artist Award for In Our Borderlands.
