Fender Pro Reverb (1969)
A new spritely edition to the family. Does clean exceptionally well but boy it can certainly do the dirty when pushed. These Fenders have the best sounding spring verb and trem around IMO
WEM Dominator MKIII (1975)
Simple but effective British no frills 15 watt amp. Wonderful ‘chiming’ sound with a sort of Vox meets Marshall overdrive when pushed
Sound City SC120 (~1975)
Generally used as The Bass Amp. An insanely powerful Dallas Arbiter designed 70’s tank. Features unusual, extreme active EQ, offering useful tonal shaping. Also has the legendary Partridge transformers as seen in Hiwatts from the same era
Roland Jazz Chorus 160 (1978)
Classic solid state beast. This is a 160 chopped in half to basically be a 120! Also has pretty good spring reverb and that effect that makes everything sound like The Cure… great amp to put after pedals.
Decca SC100 (1964)
A funny little thing I found in my grandfathers loft! 7 Watt Decca amp designed for plugging a record player into. Had this converted to accept guitar inputs. Sounds great when cranked - not dissimilar to a Fender Champ but with weird elliptical Fane speaker that imparts a certain ‘thing’
