Falling Sparrow Productions was founded by Charlie Dupré and Matt Morrison in 2017, and is funded by Arts Council England. The company is a dynamic, boundary-stretching outfit that uses a hotch-potch of performative elements to pull out strands of meaning from the chaotic tributaries of people and politics. Our first two productions will premiere at the Brighton Fringe in May 2017. He is a four-ti

me Hammer and Tongue national slam finalist and a BBC slam finalist, and his first full-length solo theatre show, 'The Stories of Shakey P' was part-commissioned by the RSC. In 2016 he won the Rising Star Award at the Let's All Be Free Film Festival, for his Arts Council-funded short film, 'Faustus: Remixed'. Matt Morrison is an actor and award-winning playwright whose plays have been performed at the Finborough Theatre, Hightide, the Arcola, the Gate and the Riverside Studios.

The first rehearsal week for ‘Compositor E’ in Musselburgh was Joy. From script work and chocolate hobnobs to Laban and some very satisfying cuts, we are a ship with a powerful wind in its sails. To London for week 2! ⛵️🎭

Our lighting designer is Danny Vavrečka. Danny is a lighting designer based in London, and his work encompasses theatre, musical theatre, opera and dance. We can’t wait to see how he textures the world of Compositor E!

We’re super excited to work with video designer Rachel Sampley. Rachel’s work includes dance, theatre, music, and sometimes all of it at once! She is driven by a love of visual storytelling, and this is at the heart of her design process. And at the heart of Compositor E!

Introducing our stage manager, Roshan Conn! Rosh has managed the technical and stage components of events big and small UK-wide. From Deputy Head of Stage at Vault Festival managing over 10 theatre venues, to having worked on over 50+ Edinburgh fringe shows of all variety, to stage managing West End shows, and immersive experiences such as the Great Gatsby… needless to say we feel very safe with Rosh!
