A styling cream for the undone, the overdone and the never done. Tress, a pioneering haircare cream for those that try hard, and for those that don’t.

Come on the mural journey with me!

This is the project I’ve thought about for the longest period of time, and the one that actually took very little time to execute.

I’ve wanted to paint on a wall for years, and always knew i wanted to do so for Marty. I’ve had a mop board going, I’ve been ruminating on how it’ll look since he appeared.

Yesterday I woke up and the idea was finally cooked, and I had to start then and there otherwise I’d just never do it! A few things that made it easier for me:

1) I did a really quick sketch on my iPad, mainly to get an idea of where colours would go, and some general shapes and motif ideas. The outcome is a bit different, but it was really helpful to have the initial idea to look at.

2) I stated with the colour and shape I felt most sure of, to give me a confidence boost

3) I did it colour by colour, and there is a vague maths to it all. It helped me feel like there was some structure to the whole thing

4) I ended up leaving@more negative / white space than I intended- something I’m forever trying to learn, less truly is more.

Marty’s bed looks straight onto it. I love laying there with him at bedtime discussing it, what it is, if any of it means anything, favourite parts 🥹.
