On the 2nd February 2021, the world lost a special soul.
Our beloved friend Derrick Nsaale sadly passed away, at the age of just 30.
An immensely popular figure in the local area, Del touched so many people with his kindness, positivity, humour, and all round infectious energy. We will miss him dearly.
Del will be being repatriated back to his birthplace of Uganda and laid to rest in the coming weeks. As there is considerable cost to this, we have set up this fundraising page to help.
Unfortunately due to to the pandemic, we can’t come together to give him the send off he deserves, but we are happy to announce, with the blessing of his family:
In a celebration of his life & passion for music, 20 of his friends will be coming together for a special DJ livestream event on Saturday 13th March from 12pm - 12am.
We know there are so many people wanting to show their support, so we are encouraging friends to get in touch with their dedication videos & photos - these will be shared throughout the stream & made available to view as a full video soon after - we thought this would be a great way to share our memories of Del, tell his story & remember the way he made us all smile.
Plans are also already underway with further events to take place following the lifting of lockdown restrictions. These will be announced in due course, and we look forward to being together again to honour Del and celebrate his life properly.
100% of all money raised will be going directly to Del’s family, to be used at their discretion. They have been very touched by the support from everyone who was lucky enough to know him.
