🌸 Blossom trees full of colour and individuality. 🌸

A beautiful blossom tree session led by Maria in London, with residents exploring colour mixing, texture and printmaking to create vibrant spring-inspired artwork.

The group began by using chalk to form the backgrounds and tree structures, before mixing reds, yellows and whites to create a range of pink tones. Printmaking and stencilling were then added to build texture, detail and movement across each piece. 🎨

It was lovely to see every resident take their own creative approach, with each blossom tree becoming completely unique. 💚

🌿 Woodland scenes brought to life in pastel. 🌿

A wonderful session at Anchor, Sandholme Fold in Halifax, creating soft pastel woodland landscapes with bluebells.

The group explored blending and layering with soft pastels, using colour, texture and gentle mark-making to build peaceful woodland scenes. It was a messy medium, but everyone embraced the process beautifully, and the results were full of atmosphere and individual style. 🎨

A lovely morning of creativity, focus and pride in what was created. 💚

🎨 Matisse-inspired worlds full of colour and imagination! 🎨

A wonderfully playful session at the Chatty Art Café in Exmouth, inspired by Matisse, prehistoric creatures and a few brilliantly monstrous ideas too.🦕👾

Participants explored bold shapes, bright colour and cut-out style compositions, each taking the theme in their own direction. From underwater scenes and sailing boats to dinosaurs and expressive illustrations, every piece had its own story and personality.

A joyful session celebrating freedom, imagination and creative confidence. 💚

Beautiful decoupage shells full of colour and pattern! 🐚

A lovely creative session with the ladies at Trickett House and DP House in Sutton, creating decorative shells with bright papers and layered decoupage.

Each shell took on its own personality, from bold floral designs to playful animal patterns, turning simple materials into something delicate, colourful and full of charm. 🎨

A gentle, enjoyable session celebrating texture, detail and the joy of making something by hand. 💚

🌊 Watery worlds for World Oceans Day! 🌊

A lovely sea-themed session at Adel Grange Residential Care Home in Leeds, with residents creating colourful underwater scenes full of movement and imagination.

The group used bold liquid watercolour to create ocean-inspired backgrounds, before adding sea creatures with Inktense pencils to bring their watery worlds to life. Seahorses, fish and other ocean creatures seemed to swim across the page beautifully. 🎨

It was lovely to see everyone so focused, with lots of care and effort going into each piece. 💙

A beautiful mixed media session inspired by spring flowers, created as part of Mental Health Awareness Week and Dementia Action Week.

Sloths at the dementia hub, participants continued their celebration of Sir David Attenborough! 🦥

These characterful sloth paintings are full of expression, colour and personality, each one completely unique in its own way.

The session gave everyone the chance to explore wildlife through art, with bold brushwork, playful colour choices and plenty of gentle focus along the way. 🎨

Gorgeous floral garden decorations created this week at Adel Grange Residential Care Home in Leeds. 🌸🌼

Residents used layered oil pastels on card to create vibrant floral designs, experimenting with texture, blending and colour. A touch of baby oil helped soften and blend some of the pastel tones, adding even more depth to the finished pieces.

The finished decorations are now brightening up the garden alongside a beautifully decorated bird house and colourful bunting, bringing creativity out into the shared outdoor space. 🌿💚

Creative sessions like these help bring people together through conversation, creativity and shared moments of joy.
