The Willow Orchestra joins forces with the Alyth Choral Society and Joshua Gearing to celebrate the inauguration of St Barnabas Kensington's newly-restored, beautiful 170-year-old Walker organ. 🎵

We will be performing Poulenc's Concerto for Organ, Strings & Timpani, Respighi's Church Windows, mighty choral works and others to be announced very soon...

This concert is one not to be missed.

“All eyes were on soloist William Lui… Lui gave a strong performance from the start, launching into the opening of Saint-Saëns’ piece with a clear, assertive energy… Lui leaned into a more emotional side of the performance, taking the show without being overbearing.”

“Throughout, conductor Bogdan Skrypka maintained a calm and assured presence… a natural confidence was evident in his fluid and precise gestures, giving the ensemble a unified momentum.”

“Sibelius’ long crescendos and gradual shifts were handled cleanly by Skrypka… In the fourth and final movement, the symphony grew to an expansive, triumphant finish.”

Last month, the Willow Orchestra performed Saint-Saëns Cello Concerto with and Sibelius' Symphony No. 2 at St Andrew's, Holborn.

This was a monumental concert both for the audience and to all the musicians involved.

Luke Stepanyak, a rising star in the London scene, makes his debut with the Willow Orchestra on Saturday 18th April 2026, performing Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto 🎻

He currently leads the Junior Royal Academy of Music Orchestra and will be starting his studies at the Menuhin School in September 2026 🎵

After the interval, the Willow Orchestra will perform Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 5, a piece filled with energy, vigour and triumph 🎼

🌿🎶 Birdsong in Concert 🦜✨

Join the Willow Orchestra Musicians and Chamber Ensemble for an evening of music inspired by birdsong on Saturday, 24th May in Downshire Hill, Hampstead.

Led by conductor Bogdan Skrypka, the first half will feature performances by the musicians, followed by an ensemble-led second half.

Half of all proceeds will support the National Trust in funding vital conservation projects for UK wildlife.
