Where:

SD Youth is a professional training company for dancers 12-20 years of age. The focus of the company is to enrich the talent, creative and aspirations of young people who wish to pursue a career in dance, creativity and film. The training programme will run over ten weeks and will be delivered by Melody Squire, the founder of . The training will focus on developing technique, creativity, performance and individuality unique to each artist. Dancers will explore tools to develop their own choreographic skills as well as skills for dance for camera that will culminate with a video project filmed the weekend of November 28th and or 29th times and dates to be confirmed.

Limited spaces and adhering to current safety regulations.

Sol Dans Youth was meant to be filming our latest project in a series of films this weekend. Instead, I thought I would share the last take from a weekend of filming with Sol Dans Youth in December. I wanted the dancers to have a moment to celebrate each other, the friendships they made, their connection to each other, to the music, to their craft. I was so incredibly proud of their talent, progress and work ethic. More importantly, I was proud of the way they support and encourage each other. I know they and so many others will be facing challenges in the coming weeks and months. A reminder to be there for each other, love each other, and know that together we will persevere. When we come together again it will be even more special.
