🎉 Happy 7th Birthday ART SIPPERS! 🍾
Seven years ago today, we hosted our very first event to a room full of friends and family who didn't really know what they had signed up for. 😅
"So… it's an art gallery?"
"An art auction?"
"We watch YOU paint and WE sip?"
😂 No. YOU are doing the painting!!!
For some, it didn't click until they walked through the door and saw the canvas in front of them.
Paint & Sip events weren't really a thing in the UK back then. It was rare to meet anyone who'd ever been to one, and we were explaining the concept to everyone we met. 🎨
A year later, lockdown hit. So we took everything online, delivered free events, and that strange, unsettling time actually became one of our biggest tools for getting the concept out there! 💪
Suddenly, everyone had time to pick up a paintbrush, and they did! 🖌️
Now, Paint & Sip events are everywhere!
Lots of companies are doing it. And we can't lie, that brings its own challenges. 😅
BUT when something genuinely helps people switch off and shake off the "I can't do that" voice. The more the merrier!
We're lucky enough to see that creative transformation session after session, year after year!
ART isn't a trend, it's a need!
So tonight, we will be raising a sip to 7 years. To our incredible Sippers Fam and everyone else who has picked up a brush with us along the way!
The canvas is far from finished! 🖼️
