I like anything Geeky so naturally I made a Twitch account so people can watch me doing the things I like. (God that sounded much better in my head)

Regardless, I like to Video game, Board game, watch Movies and TV and s**t ton more. I called them the DnDiscord series (cause we run them on discord so...) there are two campaigns, one is Curse of Strahd and the other is home-brew called Uncle D.O.

Hi All ^_^)/ before you judge, I'll explain the 20 in the review:
In case you were unaware, there is a sequel to The , and if you don't like movies and / or and , just leave XD
I grew up on them so... obviously I am gonna watch the

Here is a quick summary:
When alien invaders kidnap Earth's superheroes, their children must team up and learn to work together if they want to save their parents and the world.

Is the story dumb and predictable?
Sure, it is.
Is the CGI super bad and not realistic? Of course it is!
Is the dialogue and the acting super cheesy and childish?
Yup and yup!
The target audience of this show is not me, as much as I don't want to admit I'm a grown person, but it's for kids! Hence, I watched this with my niece! She was screaming with excitement throughout the movie! She really liked the frenzy shark attacks that the little kid did. She was smiling, screaming and having fun! (I should say we watched it in English but my niece is only a beginner in English, She can only say the greetings and sorry) yet she really enjoyed this movie! Which is why I asked her: what would you give this movie out of 10, she said 20 without hesitation :)
Sure, the movie has flaws and plot wholes and so much was wrong with it but kids liked it and I liked it, specially that it wasn't a direct follow up of Sharkboy and Lavagirl, they were in it but not the concentration point of the movie, I liked that! I am glad they are working on a second movie already! has officially made it into my good-director-book (yes I know, he did more than directing in this one, he did everything)

Would I recommend it for cinema?
If it's safe, Covid wise, Sure, watch it with family tho

Would I recommend to get the Blu-ray?
Only if you have kids and don't have Netflix.

Would I recommend Streaming it?
If you have Netflix, sure! But I wouldn't say it's worth getting Netflix for it!

P.S my actual review as a was 4.2 out of 10, but it's a kids show so I am not the expert, my niece is and she said 20!

Hi all ^_^)/ it's been a while since I was active, I was moving but now I am a bit more free! So we are back on the reviews, first one
Oh boy, I really wanted to like this one but, incase you haven't seen it yet; here is a short version of the plot:
There is a rock that grants one wish, but in return, takes away something from you! Maxwell who is portrayed by Pedro Pascal wishes to become the thing that grants the wishes, and slowly civilisation begin to crumble!
Ok here comes the review:
First off, Cheetah was wasted, there was no reason for her to be in this movie. I would have preferred it if it was just Maxwell and Kristen Wiig character was left alone for the third movie. She could have been a scientist that wanted to carry on her research but not enough funding for her department so she was forced to experiment on herself, but that's not what we got.
We had a flashback that was completely unnecessary, it was around 11 minutes but it wasn't essential to the story. We could have had more back story on Maxwell or how Dianan is coping.
When the story hits the exposition part, it was just talking with no showing.
The end arc or the 3rd act was meant to feel like the world is ending but I had no interest or didn't grasp the urgency of the doomsday event.
To sum it up, this movie has a lot of talking but not enough showing and actions don't have consequences!
Now let's talk CGI, some ppl don't like the cheetah but I actually liked it! My problem wasn't Cheetah, my problem was Wonder Woman! Almost in every shot she needed the lasso or was using any of her powers, the green screen CG was as bad as 80s movies or worse.
But the acting! *Chefs kiss* I really liked Pedro Pascal, I think he was the hero of the story, (I might be bias because of Mando but still liked his performance) everyone did what they could with what they were given, except Gal Gadot, I think she can do better! There is more but not enough space so:
Would I recommend it for cinema?
No
Would I recommend it for Blu-ray?
Not unless you are collecting
Would I recommend it for streaming?
Don't pay for it but sure
Would I watch it with family?
I rather watch something else

Hey all ^_^)/ so is released on (but you have to pay £20 to see it) and I did, so here is why you should/shouldn't do the same. I am keeping it so read without fear:
For those who still don't know what is Mulan: To save her ailing father from serving in the Imperial Army, a fearless young woman disguises herself as a man to battle northern invaders in China.

This movie was intended for Cinema and you can tell from the cinematography and how well it was shot.

The Music score was a great helping hand to make this movie a great experience.

Unfortunately, I can't think of anything else that's great about this movie. The storytelling was weak, the character development was nonexistent. And Mulan herself, we know she can act cause she did act at the beginning of the film, (not Act 1, just the beginning) and the very end before the credits roll. The rest of the movie, she had one expression.

There are some great names attached to this film but we either see them only one second or we barely see them at all.

If you are thinking "it has Donnie Yen, at least the Martial Arts is gonna be good" we barely see that too. It's a very bland, and unexciting (not boring, just not exciting, nothing really happens) movie. There is no character progression. Even the love interest didn't work with me. I feel like a lot of this film is edited out, no director would assume this and say "yeh I am proud of this movie" it's just really plain. It really doesn't bring anything good to the original Mulan story.
Would I recommend you to watch it in Cinema? No, it's not worth it.
Would I buy it on Bluray? Maybe? If its half priced or if it's in a Disney collection of some sort.
Would I recommend to watch it on streaming site? Well... don't pay $30 or £20 for it, just wait it out and let it be released on Disney+
I really feel cheated out!
Last note: I feel like they lowkey betrayed Ming-Na Wen, they have her in the movie for less than 5 Seconds, just not cool man, not cool!!

Hi all ^_^)/ so I got some for you. Let's start with a that got delayed so many times because of Covid19.
I try to keep this .

Tenet summary: a secret agent embarks on a dangerous, time-bending mission to prevent the start of World War III.
Without revealing much, this movie is a spy, heist movie that uses time as a tool to achieve its goals.
Usually any movie that involves time manipulation, is confusing. Tenet did a really good job in describing the "magic" system of it's time manipulation.
The performance of the actors boosted the movie to even a higher level.
Even though the Narrative and plot were amazing and fun to explore, unfortunately this movie tried to do too much in one go. There are serious lack of character development after the main two characters. The music score that could have carried the level of movie to a different level, was lacking impact, and missed its matched to the beats of the film. Volume alone would surprisingly take you out of the movie, before the score could.
To be fair towards Tenet, this movie was meant to be released a long time ago, and it is the first movie after the lockdown has eased, so the anticipation of a movie that requires less thinking and more killing is higher from the audience, which Tenet is the opposite to that. I would say it's a movie that you should watch multiple times to fully appreciate it.
Would I recommend to watch this in cinema? Sure, but pay attention, if you miss a beat, you might miss the movie.
Is it worth buying it on Bluray? 100%, almost every shot of this is practical effect and they tried to not use any CGI as much as they could.
Is it worth watching it in streaming services like HBO Max? Sure is, I wanna continuously watch some of the scenes in the movie, it was super creative.

Last note, I hope more original movies come out instead of remakes. I have only respect and appreciation towards CN.

Hey all ^_^)/
Hope everyone are doing great and handling the new way of life, fucovid.
For now let's the new Jamie Foxx movie, I will keep it I promise.
The concept of this movie is: A former soldier teams up with a cop to find the source behind a dangerous pill that provides temporary superpowers.
Now to tell you how I feel, I am gonna keep it short and divide it into the 3 acts:

Act 1: Decent start, a bit too much "tell" more than "show" but it was still enjoyable so passable, for sure.

Act 2: Really well done, faster pace but not too fast, the "showing" was a bit more than "telling" and it was my favourite act, (lots of character build, I like that)

Act 3: It was fun, it was great, lots of action, felt like a stealth game, but the conclusion of act 3 was super duper weak, I feel like 7 minutes of the ending is missing.

Who was the MVP of the movie, in terms of acting?
Even though Dominique Fishback really stands out, but Jamie Foxx and Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Iike him as an actor) shown us great performance too.

What else was the problem?
I think the villian was weak, general and we really didnt know/care about them. Would have liked some depth to the villian

If it was in cinema, would I watch it? Maybe. I would if watching with friends.

Would I buy it if it was on DVD/Bluray?
Yeh, the visuals in the show was great, the CG was on point, really well done.

Would I watch it with family on Netflix?
Hell yeh, totally fun, exciting, and a dad movie.

Next post would be on "Old Guard", then I might do few series, and some games (Far Cry 5)

05/04/2020

Hey All ^_^)/ we are still in lockdown so might as well watch a movie, while you are deciding what to watch on or wherever you get your dose of movies, here is my recommendation,
And while I am at it, here is a spoiler free review on it:

At first, it's the typical movie, with lots of respect and hints to agatha christie movies and novels, but it's not as simple: the circumstances surrounding the death of crime novelist Harlan Thrombey are mysterious, but there's one thing that renowned Detective Benoit Blanc knows for sure: everyone in the wildly dysfunctional Thrombey family is a suspect.

You may ask "Yo, KS, it's Rian Johnson, and based on his work on Star Wars Last Jedi, we don't trust the script to be good, what do we do?" And I would say "dw, this is actually great" he literally did what he did with star wars and fixed on his problems, so now all characters have the right balance of character development, clear intention and goal. Some may argue that this may be his redeeming work :O (dw I am not bought out yet, I am gonna wait for the sequel of this movie to decide if RJ is redeemed or ney)

But this one film is great, its definitely recommend to see in cinema when it was there, now I recommend the Bluray if you are into detective shows and great acting gems, also most definitely recommend it to be streamed online in quarantine with your family. 100% a dad movie watch along.

(One point tho, I wished the police department were more useful in the movie)

Hi All ^_^)/ since we are in lockdown AND I am busy finishing up my Dissertation, it's the best time to procrastinate and write this review (and gives you some title to watch). This one was a request too, so here is my Review on

In short: It's cute, heartwarming, and tearful. It's about how group of friends reunite five years after the death of one of them, to help her remember and fulfill a wish so she can pass on to the afterlife.
Naturally, it's a show that would probably makes you cry. I cried like a baby by the end, so be warned.
If you are looking for a slice of life anime, something kind hearted and pure, with a hint of mystery, this is it. The only problem I had was some part of it is very forgettable and if you are not paying attention early, it can get boring.

Definitely would have bought it on Bluray, would stream it on Netflix but wouldn't cinema marathon it.

But I do recommend it. It's not a anime gateway, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Hey All ^_^)/ so, One of my favourite comic character had a movie adaptation. I've said it many times but I really like and in that universe, there are few characters I love. One of which is
is now out and was directed by who is primarily know for directing videogame trailers
So keep that in mind while you read my review:

In short: it was bad, it was really really bad. I tend to go easy on reviewing movies but this one is a hard one to sell. In terms of Acting, everyone were great. They were carrying the film. For what it was, acting were on point. The concept for it was great too. It took a new look at a theme that has been done so many times, so that was great. The villian was great, thanks to performance. This guy always brings his best to the screen and is always fun to watch him.
BUT that's all the good parts.
The Directing, the editing, the writing, the dialogue, even the actions and the jokes were bad. I can't just say it's bad without a reason, so here it goes:
From act 1 to 3 we meet 6 important characters, from these 6, there are not a single person that we care about up till act 3 and that's because one villian is bullying the other villian. That's the only reason why we would care, other than that, there is no connection from audience to the main characters. Why should we root for the hero? There is no explanation. I feel like the director was in a hurry to show the cool fight sequence at the end (which was cool and the end visual was great but no excitement hype for it) than actually explaining and developing the characters for us. Idk. But well done to visual effects ppl, I can imagine the crunch that was put in it, well done to them.
It's not worth watching it in cinema
It's not worth the Bluray unless you are fan of the comics
But I would watch it with my dad on Netflix

Hey All ^_^)/ so remember that requested reviews? I low-key regret asking, cause someone said review "The Room" and to be fair, it is something I would never watch unless forced to. Yes, I am cheating.

Anyways, here goes :

It's the best worst film I have ever watched, it's great for all the wrong reasons. It's a film that every time you watch it, you find something new that's wrong with it.

It's great, but it's great because it is super bad. It's like a very expensive but badly written adult movie and adult movies aren't famous for their stories, but they be stronger than this movie.

It's just confusingly bad. (I know, I sound like a tape but it's really hard to explain what's wrong with it with out spoiling it. (It has many points that drops information but you never visit that info ever again)

BUT it does have one great and amazing thing :O it's the CGI. Don't get me wrong, the lightening of the CGI is all wrong and it looks bad. But the 3D effect that the roof has is actually really smart for it's time.

I would recommend watching this only if you wanna suffer or play a game (but it is a cult classic, so maybe watch it once just to get what I mean by its BAD)

Hey All ^_^)/ this one is not a request but it's a new film and as usual I be keeping it

If you don't like fantasy stories then (obviously) this is not for you. The story is about two teenage elf brothers, Ian and Barley Lightfoot, that go on an journey to discover if there is still a little magic left out there in order to spend one last day with their father, who died when they were too young to remember him.

As you can imagine, this film hits you on the feels. Act 1, 2, and 3 are all great. I didn't felt bored or forced at all. It had comedy, romance-ish? Family and adventure. It was great. I may be bias because it's about magic and a lot of hints to D&D. But I like how they asked the actual people behind D&D ( ) to consult and help them with the magic spells and references.
But even regardless of that, I think people would enjoy the movie even if you know nothing about D&D. Its really well put together.
Definitely worth seeing in Cinema (Multiple times)
Go and watch it, it's great.

Hey All ^_^)/ so, few days ago, on my insta story, I asked if there is anything (Movie, Games or comics) that you want me to review. And this post is about one of them.

Before I jump into my review: 1. I will keep it 2. Back in secondary school, (6th form to be specified) I studied law, and as part of our class, we had to watch this film and since then, it has been one of my Favourites, 3. I am bias in this review cause I love it too much.

Now to the review:
I re-watched the film just to see if it still holds up. I think it has evolved to something more with passage of time (Or I just grow older hence my view on things are different, or both 🤷🏻‍♂️)
The movie is shot in 3 scenes, The court room, which is the first few minutes explaining the case, the Jury's room, which takes the majority of the film and the bathroom. The bathroom scenes work like a break for audience to capture the attentions more frequently. But what makes the story great, is the personality of all the Jury's. Each one brings a new side to the table and describes the different possible nature of mankind and how life has effected the way of thinking and living for any person. After doing that, it shows the reaction of each representative towards other reps. It's very beautifully demonstrated that how the society views it self. I am not gonna say what and who so if you haven't seen it yet, you would. But pay close attention to what is said and reacted towards what's around and why! It's just amazing. Definitely it's a must see movie of all time.
If I were to say some negative pointers is that 1. It can be viewed as a propaganda film to show American justice system works, 2. There are few parts that is a work of movie and not realism, but that's Hollywood and I am nitpicking. Though, I do think if they were to remake that film, it would have needed to be more diverse but it was a different time back then, so its understandable why there's no POC or any other gender.
Really enjoyed it, great suggestion, and definitely recommend it.

19/02/2020

Hi All ^_^)/ so based on your votes, I am gonna write about the and I will be keeping it so do not worry and enjoy:

Before you watch this movie, you need to know about the character design change that was needed for Sonic. When the first trailer dropped, not a single person was happy about the design of the main character, which then they extended the release date so they can re design the character.

So when you are watching this movie, have an open mind.

Also when you go to see this movie, make sure there is at least a younger audience with you, cause some of the jokes are targeted at them and you might not get it if you don't pay attention. Which brings me to Jim Carrey's performance. The guy still is amazing and knows what to do to make anyone from any age laugh with a simple body language, and superb acting skills.

The story for the movie is solid and very family friendly. There are many easter eggs and nods to the games, so if you are fan of the games, you will enjoy this.
The dialogue for the movie is slightly cheesy but that's natural since it's a kids / teens movie. But still it was hella fun. I gave it a high number because I went in expecting it to fail or to be really bad, but it was fun. But make sure you turn your brain off before going in.

If you are fan of the games, then sure it's worth the cinema but if not, I would say wait it out.
